2012 Japanese Super Cup
The 2012 Japanese Super Cup was held on 3 March 2012 between the 2011 J. League champions Kashiwa Reysol and the 2011 Emperor's Cup winner F.C. Tokyo. Kashiwa Reysol won the match 2–1 in regulation time. Background This was the first time both teams had participated in the competition. Kashiwa, having won its first League title since 1972 (when no Super Cup was played) and FC Tokyo, having become the third club to win both the second-tier title and the Emperor's Cup since Yamaha (Júbilo Iwata) in 1982, both had qualified to the Asian Champions League by virtue of winning their titles. Kashiwa Reysol
is a Japanese professional football club based in Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, part of the Greater Tokyo Area. The club plays in the J1 League, which is the top tier of football in the country. Hideaki Kitajima
is a former Japanese football player and last play for Japan national team. He is head coach Japan Football League club of Criacao Shinjuku from 2023. Club career Kitajima was born in Narashino on May 23, 1978. After graduating from high school, he joined Kashiwa Reysol in 1997. In 1999, he played many matches and the club won J.League Cup. Hidekazu Otani
is a Japanese football manager and former professional player who played as a defensive midfielder. He made over 600 career appearances for Kashiwa Reysol and stayed with them for his entire career. Takanori Sugeno
is a Japanese football player who plays for Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo. Playing career Although considered short for a goalkeeper, standing at 178 cm, he makes up for his lack of height with superb agility and reflexes. In 2006, he was part of the Yokohama FC defense that set a J.League record when they did not concede a goal for 770 consecutive minutes, breaking Shimizu S-Pulse's 731 minutes recorded in 1993. Ariajasuru Hasegawa ( ja, 長谷川 アーリアジャスール; fa, آریا جسور; born 29 October 1988) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Machida Zelvia.
