2012 FFV State Knockout Cup
The 2012 FFV State Knockout Cup was the second edition of a football (soccer) knockout-cup competition held between men's clubs in Victoria, Australia in 2012, the annual edition of the Dockerty Cup. Teams First Round Playoffs Round 1 will contain clubs below State League 1. Clubs will play teams in their Zones and some teams will have a bye which automatically puts them into the second round. The draw was held on 2 March 2011 at 6pm AEDT. 2011 Mirabella Cup
The 2011 Mirabella Cup was the first edition of a football (soccer) knockout-cup competition held between men's clubs in Victoria, Australia in 2011, the annual edition of the Dockerty Cup. It was to be unique in Australian football in that the competition was to integrate clubs from the national top-level league, the A-League, with the state system below. However, the Football Federation Australia later withdrew their permission for Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart to take part in the competition while the first rounds were already ongoing, citing confusion of fans in marketing an as yet unannounced national knockout cup competition, which the FFA described in a press announcement announcing their reversal as still being in a stage of consideration, and not yet having a viable plan. 2013 FFV State Knockout Cup
The 2013 FFV State Knockout Cup was the third edition of a football (soccer) knockout-cup competition held between men's clubs in Victoria, Australia in 2013, the annual edition of the Dockerty Cup. The first round was played during the weekend of 3 March 2013, with the Final scheduled for 7 September. Unlike previous years, this tournament does not stagger the entrance of teams based on their position on the football pyramid; teams from as high as the Victorian Premier League participated in the opening round, though 16 selected clubs were given byes to the Fourth Round. Format During Rounds 1–4, the matches will be played within 4 geographical "zones" (North, South, East and West), with the zones merging into a single competition in Round 5. Dockerty Cup
The Dockerty Cup is an annual association football knock-out competition open to all Victorian clubs across the Victorian football league system. The tournament is named after the former president of Football Federation Victoria Harry Dockerty. Since 2014 the Cup is also a qualifying competition for the FFA Cup, now known as the Australia Cup, where the four finalists enter the competition proper at the round of 32. The Dockerty cup winner also qualifies to the next season's FV Community Shield, in a one-off match against the current NPL Victoria champion.
