The 2012 Courtesy Freight Northern Ontario Superspiel was held from November 9 to 11 at the Port Arthur Curling Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a round robin format. The purse for the men's event was CAD$15,000, of which the winner, Al Hackner, received CAD$5,000, and the purse for the women's event was CAD$6,000. Bryan Burgess
Bryan Burgess (born January 30, 1977) is a Canadian curler from Thunder Bay, Ontario. He was a member of the Northern Ontario team at the 2001 Nokia Brier. He currently coaches the Dallas Burgess Junior team. Burgess was a member of the Al Hackner rink from the late 1990s to 2002. In 2001, Burgess won his only Northern Ontario provincial title, playing third for the team. At the 2001 Brier in Ottawa, the team finished with a 5-6 record. Burgess curled 79% during the tournament. Except for playing for Hackner in 2007-08, Burgess has skipped his own team since 2002. Trevor Nevin Marcel Bonot (born May 27, 1985) is a Canadian curler who lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Bonot was born and raised in Stratton, Ontario. Bonot played for Team Canada and won a medal at a World Mixed Curling Championships (2017). Curling career Men's At the 2023 Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Curling Championship, team Bonot finished 3rd in Northern Ontario, beating Olympic Gold Medallist Brad Jacobs in the A-Final.
