2011–12 Oxford United F.C. Season
Oxford United F.C. season 2011–12 was the club's second season in League Two after returning from the Conference. It was the club's 118th year in existence, their 112th of competitive football and their 63rd since turning professional. This article covers the period from 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012. After consolidation of the club's newly regained League status the season before (Oxford had finished 12th in League Two in 2010–11), and an unbeaten pre-season campaign that included victories over higher-division opposition in the shape of MK Dons and Birmingham City, hopes for the new season were high, but United started with an away defeat to Rotherham United on the opening day. Results improved, however, and the club briefly reached the automatic promotion places in October. Seacoast United Phantoms
The Seacoast United Phantoms (formerly the New Hampshire Phantoms) are an American soccer team based in the coastal region of southeastern New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts. The team is based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where it played from 2011 to 2017, in the stadium of Portsmouth High School. Founded in 1996, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team's colors are blue, white, gold and black. Didcot ( ) is a railway town and civil parish in the ceremonial county of Oxfordshire and the historic county of Berkshire. Didcot is south of Oxford, east of Wantage and north west of Reading. Deane Smalley
Deane Alfie Michael Smalley (born 5 September 1988) is an English professional footballer who is currently signed to Wythenshawe Town. His career saw him play as a striker before converting to playing as a centre-back when at Wythenshaw. Career Born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Smalley began his career with Oldham Athletic and regularly featured in the reserve squad, before making two appearances with the first at the end of the 2006–07 season. Alfie Potter
Alfie James Potter (born 9 January 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays for Oxford City as a midfielder. Career Potter came through the youth team ranks at Peterborough United, after being released by Wimbledon at the age of 14, then by Millwall aged 17. Before joining Peterborough he spent a few months at the Barking Abbey Centre for Football Excellence, where he made several first-team appearances for Waltham Forest in the Isthmian League. He signed his first professional contract with Peterborough on 1 June 2007, signing a one-year deal. Joshua James Payne (born 25 November 1990) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder. He has previously played for West Ham United, Cheltenham Town, Colchester United, Wycombe Wanderers, Doncaster Rovers, Oxford United, Aldershot Town, Woking, Eastleigh, Crawley Town, Ebbsfleet United, Barnet and Hayes & Yeading United. Jon-Paul Pittman
Jon-Paul Pittman (born 24 October 1986) is a football coach and former professional player, currently Assistant Under 18 Coach at Brentford. Pittman began his career in Aston Villa's academy before moving to Nottingham Forest where he spent eight years. This also included two loan spells at Hartlepool United and Bury respectively. Following a short spell at Doncaster Rovers, he moved to Crawley Town. A five-figure move to Wycombe Wanderers followed a season and a half later. He then joined Oxford United and after a short return on loan to Crawley Town made a return to Wycombe. A move to Grimsby Town in 2014 lasted two seasons before signing for Harrogate Town in 2016.
