2011–12 Colorado State Rams Men's Basketball Team
The 2011–12 Colorado State Rams men's basketball team represented Colorado State University during the 2011–12 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was coached by Tim Miles in his 5th season. They played their home games at the Moby Arena on Colorado State University's main campus in Fort Collins, Colorado and are a member of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 8–6 in Mountain West play to finish in fourth place. They lost in the semifinals of the Mountain West Basketball tournament to San Diego State. They received an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA basketball tournament where they lost in the second round to Murray State. Tim Miles
Timothy Sean Miles (born August 20, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the current head coach of the San Jose State Spartans men's basketball team. Miles previously served as the head coach of North Dakota State University, Colorado State University and the University of Nebraska. Miles is a graduate of the University of Mary. Coaching career Early career Following his playing career at the University of Mary, Miles spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Northern State University, where the Wolves went to four NAIA II national tournaments and two national championship games. In 1995, Miles left to accept his first head coaching job at NAIA II Mayville State. In both his seasons at Mayville State, Miles led the Comets to NDCAC Championships and the NAIA II National Tournament. Lawrence High School (LHS) is a public secondary school in Lawrence, Kansas, United States, operated by Lawrence USD 497 school district, and serves students of grades 9 to 12. Ainsworth High School is a secondary school located in Ainsworth, Nebraska, United States, and is part of Ainsworth Community Schools. About The Ainsworth School was originally built in 1922. In 1949, what is now the Ag Shop was added. In 1954 the Lila McAndrew Elementary and gymnasium were added. In 1965, an Annex Building was moved onto the grounds and is now the Superintendent's Office. The Learning Center was added in 1975.
