2011–12 Blackpool F.C. Season
The 2011–12 season was Blackpool F.C.s first season back in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English professional football, after being relegated from the Premier League at the conclusion of 2010–11 campaign. It was their 103rd overall season in the Football League. It was Ian Holloway's third season as manager. The club finished the regular season in fifth position, thus qualifying them for the play-offs. They reached the final, in which they lost to West Ham 1–2. Kevin Phillips, in his first season at Blackpool, finished as the club's top scorer with seventeen goals (sixteen in the League). Blackpool F
Blackpool is a seaside resort in Lancashire, England. Located on the northwest coast of England, it is the main settlement within the borough also called Blackpool. The town is by the Irish Sea, between the Ribble and Wyre rivers, and is north of Liverpool and northwest of Manchester. At the 2011 census, the unitary authority of Blackpool had an estimated population of 139,720 while the urban settlement had a population of 147,663, making it the most populous settlement in Lancashire, and the fifth-most populous in North West England after Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton and Warrington. Paul Stephen Rachubka (; born 21 May 1981) is an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He now works as an accountant in Manchester. Born in San Luis Obispo, California, to an English mother and an American father, Rachubka possesses dual nationality, having moved to England with his family when he was seven years old. Bojan Djordjic
Bojan Djordjic ( or Bojan Đorđić; born 6 February 1982) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Starting off his career with IF Brommapojkarna in the late 1990s, he is best remembered for his time with Manchester United, with which he was named the 1999–2000 Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year, and AIK, with which he won the 2009 Allsvenskan and 2009 Svenska Cupen. Andy Reid (Irish Footballer)
Andrew Matthew Reid (born 29 July 1982) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He turned professional in August 1999 making his debut for Nottingham Forest on 29 November 2000 against Sheffield United. Reid moved from Forest to Tottenham in 2005, then to Charlton Athletic in 2006, Sunderland in 2008 and Blackpool in 2011. In July 2011 he signed a two-year deal back at Nottingham Forest. Sergei Aleksandrovich Kornilenko ( be, Сяргей Аляксандравіч Карніленка; russian: Сергей Александрович Корниленко; born 14 June 1983) is a Belarusian professional football coach and a former player who played as a striker. Nîmes Olympique (commonly referred to as simply Nîmes) is a French association football club based in Nîmes. The club was founded on 10 April 1937 and currently plays in Ligue 2, the second level of French football. Until November 2022, the club played its home matches at the Stade des Costières. Salaheddine Sbaï (born 21 August 1985 in Sidi Kacem) is a Moroccan former professional footballer. Club career Sbaï began his career for the youth side at Charleroi and was loaned out for the 2004/2005 season to Ronse. Marlon Harewood
Marlon Anderson Harewood (born 25 August 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. Harewood started his career at Nottingham Forest. During his career there, he had loan spells at Haka and Ipswich Town before joining West Ham United in 2003 and then Aston Villa in 2007. In 2009, he spent short periods on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United. Ishmel Abendigo Demontagnac (born 15 June 1988) is an English footballer who last played as a winger for Thurrock. Demontagnac previously played for Walsall. Jason Joseph Euell (born 6 February 1977) is a former professional association football, footballer who played as either a Forward (association football), forward or a midfielder. Malaury Martin (born 25 August 1988) is a French former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Martin started his career with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco. Daniel John Coid (born 3 October 1981) is an English former professional footballer. Career Blackpool Born in Liverpool, Merseyside, Coid started his career with Blackpool in 1995 as 14-year-old .
