2011 WAFF Women's Championship
The 2011 West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship tournament was held from 3 to 12 October 2011 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was the fourth West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship held. The UAE successfully defended their title by beating Iran in the final. Draw Eight teams entered the tournament and were drawn into two groups of four nations. The draw for the competition was made on 2 October 2011. Abeer Alnahar
Abeer Mahmoud Mubarak Al-Nahar ( ar, عبير النهار; born 13 February 1991) is a Jordanian international footballer who plays as a forward. Club career In May 2015 Al-Nahar played for Amman Club in a 5–3 win over rivals Shabab Al-Ordon, which secured the Jordan Women's Football League title. International career As a 15-year-old Al-Nahar was included in the Jordan national team squad who were beaten 13–0 by Japan at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. In 2011 Al-Nahar and her father were outspoken critics of FIFA's ban on hijabs. Two years later she got six goals as Jordan "hammered" Kuwait 21–0 in 2014 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification. Niloofar Ardalan (born 29 May 1985), also known as Niloofar Ardallani, is an Iranian coach and former player of football and futsal who played in the Iranian women's national football team and the Iranian women's national futsal team and was captain in both teams. She played for the Rah Ahan Football Club team as well as the Futsal Clubs teams of Tejarat Khane Bandar Abbas, Persepolis, and the Islamic Azad University of Tehran.
