The 2011 Toronto Argonauts season was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 139th season overall. The Argonauts were eliminated from playoff contention on October 10, 2011 and failed to make a second straight playoff appearance, finishing 4th place in the East Division with a 6–12 record. Canadian Football League East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the East Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The Montréal Carabins are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. McMahon Stadium
McMahon Stadium is a Canadian football stadium in Calgary, Alberta. The stadium is owned by the University of Calgary and operated by the McMahon Stadium Society. The stadium is between the downtown core and the University of Calgary, north of 16 Avenue NW between Crowchild Trail and University Drive. It is within walking distance of the Banff Trail C-Train station. The 2011 Calgary Stampeders season was the 54th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 73rd overall. The Stampeders finished in 3rd place in the West Division with an 11–7 record and lost the West Semi-Final game to the Edmonton Eskimos. Offseason CFL Draft The 2011 CFL Draft took place on Sunday, May 8, 2011. The Stampeders had six selections in the draft, with the first coming in the third spot overall, after trading their sixth overall pick to the BC Lions. Through the trade, Calgary was able to select local star receiver Anthony Parker with their first pick, who was ranked as the number one receiver available in the draft. Canad Inns Stadium
Canad Inns Stadium (also known as Winnipeg Stadium) was a multipurpose stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The stadium was located at the corner of St. James Street and Maroons Road, immediately north of the Polo Park Shopping Centre and the now-defunct Winnipeg Arena. Although built for the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the stadium also accommodated baseball and soccer, and was used by various iterations of the Winnipeg Goldeyes and Winnipeg Whips. Hamilton Tiger-Cats
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Julian Feoli-Gudino (born June 22, 1987) is a Costa Rican professional Canadian football wide receiver for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
