Nationwide Tour
The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental golf tour, tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Mark Wilson (golfer)
Mark Joseph Wilson (born October 31, 1974) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. In 1996, he received the Ben Hogan Award, given by Friends of Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America, to the best college golf player in the United States. He is a five-time winner on the PGA Tour, with his most recent win coming at the 2012 Humana Challenge. Professional career Wilson turned professional in 1997 and played on the NGA Hooters Tour for the early part of his career, where he won three times between 1998-2001. Humana Challenge
The Desert Classic (currently known as The American Express for sponsorship reasons; previously known as the CareerBuilder Challenge, Palm Springs Golf Classic, the Bob Hope Desert Classic, the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, and the Humana Challenge) is a professional golf tournament in southern California on the PGA Tour. Played in mid-winter in the Coachella Valley (greater Palm Springs), it is part of the tour's early season "West Coast Swing." It previously had five rounds of competition (90 holes) rather than the standard of four rounds, and was known for its celebrity pro-am. For many years, the event was named for and hosted by entertainer Bob Hope and featured a number of celebrity participants. Tim Petrovic
Tim Petrovic (born August 16, 1966) is an American professional golfer. He won one PGA Tour event, and has finished runner-up in four senior major golf championships. Early life Petrovic was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. He played college golf for the Hartford Hawks, and was an NCAA Division I All-American selection in 1988. Petrovic was a teammate of future PGA Tour professional Jerry Kelly. He was inducted into University of Hartford's Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Professional career Petrovic turned professional in 1988. He joined the Nike Tour (now known as the Korn Ferry Tour) in 1994, and first earned his PGA Tour card in 2002. The Fortinet Championship, previously the Safeway Open, is a professional golf tournament, part of the PGA Tour. The Greenbrier Classic was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held from 2010 to 2019 at The Old White at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Willard Jeremiah "Billy" Hurley III (born June 9, 1982) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour. Early life Hurley grew up in Leesburg, Virginia, the oldest of four children of Bill and Cheryl Hurley. He attended Loudoun County High School. During his senior year in 2000, he was one of 17 golfers named honorable mention All-Met (Washington, D.C. metro area) He was named all-state in Virginia. Martin Thomas Flores (born February 17, 1982) is an American professional golfer who has played seven seasons on the PGA Tour, but is currently playing on the Web.com Tour. Flores joined the PGA Tour in 2010, earning his card through qualifying school. He struggled during his rookie year on Tour and finished 175th on the money list. Roberto Castro (born June 23, 1985) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Castro played college golf at Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech, he was named first-team All-American in 2005, second-team All-American in 2007 and honorable mention All-American in 2004 and 2006. He was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) team every year during his four years at Georgia Tech and was named ACC Rookie of the Year in 2004. Mark Anderson (golfer)
Mark Anderson (born February 14, 1986) is an American professional golfer who has played on the Web.com Tour and the PGA Tour. Anderson joined the Web.com Tour in 2010. In his rookie year on Tour he recorded three top-10 finishes. In 2011, he recorded four top-10 finishes and a runner-up finish at the Miccosukee Championship en route to finishing 22nd on the money list, good enough for a PGA Tour card for 2012. On the PGA Tour in 2012, Anderson failed to make the top 200 in the FedEx Cup standings. He made 13 out of 25 cuts, but only recorded one top-10 finish all season, a T9 at the season finale. Garth Mulroy
Garth David Mulroy (born 8 July 1978) is a South African professional golfer. Amateur career Mulroy was born in Durban. He attended college in the United States at North Carolina State University, where he was an NCAA Division I All-American. He turned professional in 2002. Professional career Mulroy has predominantly tried to make his way as a professional in the United States, and has collected several victories on various mini-tours.
