2011 Matchworld Women's Cup
The 2011 Matchworld Women's Cup was the first edition of the Matchworld Women's Cup, a global invitational tournament for national teams in women's football (soccer). Held in Switzerland in June 2011, matches were staged in Savièse, Apples and Naters. Denmark won the four team tournament which also featured New Zealand, Colombia and Wales. They played against each other in a single round-robin tournament with the group winner also being the winner of the tournament. Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen
Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen (born 15 August 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Reading of the FA Women's Super League. Since 2008, she has been a part of the senior Danish national team. Club career In 2011, Troelsgaard was named Denmark's Player of the Year after scoring 29 goals in her first 15 matches for Skovbakken. In February 2017, Troelsgaard signed for FC Rosengård in the Swedish Damallsvenskan. On 21 December 2021, Reading announced the signing of Troelsgaard on a contract until June 2023. International career Troelsgaard made her senior international debut for Denmark in March 2008, playing the last four minutes of a 1–0 win over Finland at the 2008 Algarve Cup. Carmen Elisa Rodallega (born 15 July 1983) is a Colombian footballer who plays as a full back for Atlético Huila. She has been a member of the Colombia women's national team.
