Webster Bank Arena
Total Mortgage Arena (formerly The Arena at Harbor Yard and Webster Bank Arena) is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States. It is the home venue of the New York Islanders' AHL farm team, the Bridgeport Islanders. Managed by the Oak View Group, the arena was built alongside the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater and opened on October 10, 2001. Webster Bank entered into a 10-year $3.5 million agreement on January 6, 2011 with the City of Bridgeport for the arena naming rights. When this agreement ended, the City entered into a new one that granted the naming rights to Total Mortgage of Milford, Connecticut on March 8, 2022. The 2010–11 Marist Red Foxes men's basketball team represented Marist College during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Foxes, led by third year head coach Chuck Martin, played their home games at the McCann Center and were members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. They finished the season 6–27, 3–15 in MAAC play to finish ninth place. They lost in the quarterfinals of the MAAC tournament to Fairfield. The 2010–11 Rider Broncs men's basketball team represented Rider University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Broncs, led by head coach Tommy Dempsey, played their home games at the Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Broncs finished in a tie for 2nd in the MAAC during the regular season, earning the 3rd seed in the MAAC tournament. The 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament involving 68 teams to determine the national champion of the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC, ) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I. Of its current 11 full members, 10 are located in three states of the northeastern United States: Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. The other member is in Maryland.
