Caroline Wozniacki defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova in the final, 6–1, 6–3 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2011 Dubai Tennis Championships. Although Wozniacki had lost the world No. 1 singles ranking to Kim Clijsters the previous week, she reclaimed the spot by defeating Shahar Pe'er in the quarterfinals. Caroline Wozniacki (; born 11 July 1990) is a Danish former professional tennis player. She was ranked world No. 1 in singles for a total of 71 weeks, including at the end of 2010 and 2011.
