2011 Bradford Bulls Season
This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2011 season, the sixteenth season of the Super League era. Season Review August 2010 Bradford Bulls started the build-up for the 2011 Super League season by announcing the departure of Chris Nero, who was offered a new contract but turned it down to join Salford City Reds and also Mick Potter's decision to not renew the contract of the ageing Steve Menzies who was then offered a one-year contract at the Catalans Dragons which he accepted. The recruitment started with the announcement of Paul Sykes and Jamie Langley accepting another three-year deal to stay at the Bulls. Potter also renewed Craig Kopczak's contract and gave a professional contract to up and coming winger Vinny Finigan. Super League XVI
The 2011 Super League season (known as the Engage Super League XVI for sponsorship reasons) was the 16th season of rugby league football since the Super League format was introduced in 1996. Fourteen teams competed for the League Leaders' Shield over 27 rounds (including the Magic Weekend at Millennium Stadium), after which the highest finishing teams entered the play-offs to compete for a place in the Grand Final and a chance to win the championship and the Super League Trophy. Leeds Rhinos claimed their fifth Super League crown, tying the record previously held by St. Helens, whilst the Warrington Wolves lifted the League Leaders' Shield. Jamie John Langley (born 21 December 1983) is an assistant coach at Sale Sharks in Premiership Rugby and an English former professional rugby league footballer. A Great Britain representative , he has also played for England and with Bradford Bulls won the Super League championship and Challenge Cup with them, and he has also played for the Hull Kingston Rovers and the Sheffield Eagles. Ian Sibbit
Ian Sibbit (born 15 October 1980), also known by the nickname of "Sibs", is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played as a second row. Sibbit signed for Salford in 2004 from the Warrington Wolves having also played for Melbourne Storm. He also went on to play for Bradford Bulls. Bryn Hargreaves (born 14 November 1985) is an English former professional rugby league footballer. In January 2022, Hargreaves went missing in Cheat Lake, West Virginia, where he was last residing. Career Wigan Warriors Hargreaves played in the Wigan Academy from 2002. New Zealand Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia.
