2010–11 Leeds United F.C. Season
The 2010–11 season saw Leeds United A.F.C. return to the second tier of English football for the first time in four years with them finishing in a respectable 7th position in the Championship, just missing out on the play-offs. In other competitions, the club performed poorly in the League Cup, going out in their first match, however made it to the third round of the FA Cup forcing Premier League giants Arsenal to a replay in the process. For the first time since 1990–91, Simon Grayson's team saw four players, Becchio (20), Gradel (18), Somma (12) and Howson (11), make it in to double figures in the scoring charts. After a disastrous end to the previous season, Gradel rejuvenated himself and picked up both the Fans' and Players' Player of the Year with Young Player going to the much improved Howson. Leeds () is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Leeds district in West Yorkshire, England. It is built around the River Aire and is in the eastern foothills of the Pennines. It is also the third-largest settlement (by population) in England, after London and Birmingham. The city was a small manorial borough in the 13th century and a market town in the 16th century. English Football League System
The English football league system, also known as the football pyramid, is a series of interconnected leagues for men's association football clubs in England, with five teams from Wales, one from Guernsey, one from Jersey and one from the Isle of Man also competing. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels, allowing even the smallest club the theoretical possibility of ultimately rising to the very top of the system, the Premier League. Queens Park Rangers Football Club, commonly abbreviated to QPR, is a professional football club based in Shepherd's Bush, West London, England, which compete in the . Derby ( ) is a city and unitary authority area in Derbyshire, England. It lies on the banks of the River Derwent in the south of Derbyshire, which is in the East Midlands Region. Alan Sheehan
Alan Michael Anthony Sheehan (born 14 September 1986) is an Irish professional football coach and former player who was most recently first-team coach at Southampton. He played for the Republic of Ireland national under-21 team. Club career Leicester City Sheehan joined Leicester City in July 2003 after being spotted by a scout whilst playing for Belvedere. Andy Robinson (footballer Born 1979)
Andrew Mark Robinson (born 3 November 1979) is an English footballer who plays for Rock Ferry Social. Robinson's professional career began in 2002 at Tranmere Rovers and concluded in 2015 after a short stint at Shrewsbury Town. In this time, he made 332 league appearances in representing four clubs, scoring 64 goals. During his five years with Swansea City, he won the Football League Trophy in 2006 and the League One title in 2008. ĽubomÃr MichalÃk (born 13 August 1983) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays for as a centre-back for Slovan Galanta. Club career Bolton Wanderers MichalÃk was born in ÄŒadca. Matches
A match is a tool for starting a fire. Typically, matches are made of small wooden sticks or stiff paper. One end is coated with a material that can be ignited by friction generated by striking the match against a suitable surface. Jonathan Mark Howson (born 21 May 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Middlesbrough in the Championship. Davide Enrico Somma (born 26 March 1985) is a South African former footballer who played as a striker. He played for the South Africa national team as a striker and his most notable spell was at Leeds United.
