2010–11 Houston Rockets Season
The 2010–11 Houston Rockets season was the 44th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 40th based in Houston. This season was Yao Ming's last in the NBA as he played only 5 games because of recurring injuries that interrupted his career. Despite his injuries, he was selected to play in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game as a starter, but he was unable to participate. Yao would then retire during the 2011 NBA lockout after playing only nine seasons in the NBA. The Rockets ended the season with a 43–39 record without the playoffs. Point Forward
Point forward is a nontraditional position in basketball, with a small forward—or sometimes a power forward or combo forward—adding the responsibilities of point guard to their play. Courtney Lee
Courtney Lee (born October 3, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Western Kentucky University. Lee was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the 22nd overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft and was traded in June 2009 to the New Jersey Nets. In August 2010, he was traded to the Houston Rockets. Aaron Jamal Brooks (born January 14, 1985) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is a two-way liaison for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and an assistant coach for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League.
