This article lists the official squads for the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup in England. Pool A Wallaroos head coach John Manenti announced a 26-player squad on 14 July 2010, including the majority of Australia’s World Cup-winning Women’s Sevens team in his squad, five players who return for third WRWC (Ruan Sims, Cheryl Soon, Tui Ormsby, Debby Hodgkinson, Alex Hargreaves) and four rookies (Megan Shanahan, Caroline Vakalahi, Cheyenne Campbell and Shannon Parry).On 23 August Tui Ormsby was forced to withdraw from the tournament because of a fractured eye socket. Bayswater and Western Australia centre Stacey Kilmister was flown in as a replacement. Tricia Brown (born 14 March 1979) is an Australian female rugby union player. She has also represented Australia in sevens rugby and cricket. She represented the Wallaroos at three Rugby World Cup's. Brown was a member of the Australian squad to the 2006 Rugby World Cup in Canada. In 2007, she was named a 22-player squad that toured New Zealand in October. She was part of the Wallaroos 2010 Rugby World Cup squad that finished in their best result of third place. Brown was selected in 's 2014 Rugby World Cup squad to France. Sydney Uni Football Club
The Sydney University Football Club, founded in 1863, is the oldest club now playing rugby union in Australia, although this date is disputed by historian Tom Hickie who argues that it was 1865. Sydney Uni was a member of the inaugural Sydney club competition in 1874, along with the Balmain Rugby Union Football Club, Newington College and The King's School. The club currently competes in the Shute Shield competition and has the most senior premiership titles of all Sydney clubs.
