Guilherme Augusto Guido (born 12 February 1987) is a Brazilian backstroke swimmer who specializes in sprint events. He was twice a finalist in the 100 metre backstroke at World Championships When Guido was young, he was a big rival of César Cielo. In the tournaments in the region of Campinas, Guido used to beat Cielo in freestyle, while Cielo won the backstroke, until the age of 15 when Cielo decided to dedicate himself to freestyle, and the situation was reversed. Charles Francis (born August 17, 1988) is a Canadian competitor swimmer and backstroker. He was born in the small town of Cowansville, Quebec. John Bernard Tapp (born August 6, 1988) is a Canadian former competitive swimmer and a 2008 Olympian. He is currently the Canadian short course record-holder in the 100-metre and 200-metre backstroke events, and the 100-metre individual medley. He also held the World Record in the 4 × 100 m medley relay short course in 2009. Tapp was a member of the 2008 Canadian Olympic team in Beijing.
