2010 Missouri Tigers Football Team
The 2010 Missouri Tigers football team represented the University of Missouri in the 2010 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The team was coached by Gary Pinkel, who returned for his tenth season with Mizzou, and played their home games at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium. The team began the season fresh off their fifth straight bowl appearance. The team hired a new public address announcer, Randy Moehlman. Michael Egnew ( TE), was named to the 1st-Team All-American list. He became the third MU tight end to win that honor in the last four years. The previous two were Martin Rucker (2007) and Chase Coffman (2008). Egnew led all of the nation's tight ends with 83 receptions, and his 698 receiving yards was also second-most among all tight ends, with those figures coming against the nation's 9th-toughest schedule. Gary Pinkel
Gary Robin Pinkel (born April 27, 1952) is a former American college football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Toledo from 1991 to 2000 and the University of Missouri from 2001 to 2015, compiling career record of 191–110–3. Pinkel has the most wins of any head coach in the history of the Toledo Rockets football program and led the 1995 team to a Mid-American Conference championship. He also holds the record for most wins by a head coach of the Missouri Tigers football program. Before becoming a head coach, Pinkel served as an assistant at the University of Washington, under Don James, from 1979 through 1990, the last six of those years as an offensive coordinator. Sean Weatherspoon
Franklin De'Sean "Sean" Weatherspoon (born December 29, 1987) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at the University of Missouri, and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with the 19th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Arizona Cardinals. Early years Weatherspoon attended Jasper High School in Jasper, Texas, where he was a versatile athlete who was an accomplished three-sport star in Texas, including as a linebacker in football. He was the 2006 recipient of the defensive Willie Ray Smith Award. He was named the Texas District 22-3A player of the year as a senior; after making 98 tackles in 2005 for the Jasper Bulldogs. Fox Sports Networks (FSN), formerly known as Fox Sports Net, was the collective name for a group of regional sports channels in the United States. Formed in 1996 by News Corporation, the networks were acquired by The Walt Disney Company on March 20, 2019, following its acquisition of 21st Century Fox. Illinois–Missouri Football Rivalry
The Illinois–Missouri football rivalry, also known as the Arch Rivalry, is an American college football rivalry between the Illinois Fighting Illini football team of the University of Illinois and Missouri Tigers football team of the University of Missouri. Both schools consider it a friendlier, secondary rivalry compared to their other rivalries like the Border War and Northwestern, but it still generates interest from students and alumni, especially those in and around Greater St. Louis. Both schools have considerable alumni from the area. Although match-ups generally have not taken place annually, in recent years, the series has been played more frequently. The Dome At America's Center
The Dome at America's Center is a multi-purpose stadium used for concerts, major conventions, and sporting events in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Henry Josey (born September 25, 1991) is a former American football running back. He was most recently a member of the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Missouri. Early years Josey is from Angleton, Texas. His father, Henry Neal, set a national high school record in the 100-meter dash in 1990. Josey attended Angleton High School, where he began his football career as a linebacker in 2007. James Franklin (quarterback)
James Franklin (born July 23, 1991) is an American former professional Canadian football quarterback. He played college football at Missouri. He was the Tigers' starting quarterback from 2011 to 2013. He was also a member of the Detroit Lions, Edmonton Eskimos, Toronto Argonauts, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
