2010 Ibero-American Championships In Athletics
The 2010 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics (Spanish: ''XIV Campeonato Iberoamericano de Atletismo'') was an athletics competition which was held at the Estadio Municipal Bahía Sur in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain from 4–6 June. A total of 44 events were contested, of which 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. A total of 459 athletes from 29 nations participated in the championships. Twelve championships records were set at the fourteenth edition of the competition. Cuba topped the medal table with 15 golds and 25 medals in total. The hosts, Spain, were runners-up with 11 golds and 31 medals overall, while Brazil took third place in the final tally. The event was held to coincide with the city's celebration of the 200th anniversary of the meetings of the Cortes of Cádiz, which paved the way towards the liberation of Spanish America. Aílson da Silva Feitosa (born 13 August 1988) is a Brazilian track and field athlete who competes in the sprints, specialising in the 200 metres. He is a frequent member of the Brazilian 4×100 metres relay team and won three gold medals for his country in 2011, taking titles at the South American Championships in Athletics, Military World Games and Pan American Games. Born in Sítio Novo do Tocantins, he began competing at national level in 2005 and won a number of medals in the 100 metres and 200 metres in the youth, junior and under-23 sections of the Brazilian championships. Luis Morán (athlete)
Luis Morán Sánchez (born 26 July 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays mainly as a right winger. Club career Born in Luanco, Asturias, and a product of local Sporting de Gijón's youth academy, Morán appeared once for its first team in 2006–07, with the club in the Segunda División. In his first two full professional seasons, he scored four goals in 28 matches apiece. In 2008–09, with Sporting now in La Liga, Morán netted an historical goal in the last round against Recreativo de Huelva (2–1 home win), which guaranteed top-flight status for a further year.
