Halmstads Bollklubb, also known simply as Halmstad () or (especially locally) HBK or Bollklubben, is a Swedish Association football, football club located in Halmstad in the county of Halland. The club, formed 7 February 1914 and approved membership in the Swedish Sports Confederation on 6 March the same year. The club competes in the highest tier of Swedish football, Allsvenskan, and has won four List of Swedish football champions, national championship titles and one Svenska Cupen, national cup title. HBK is a member-controlled club. Michael Görlitz
Michael Görlitz (born 8 March 1987) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Görlitz began his career with SB Phönix Nürnberg and joined later FC Holzheim Neumarkt. He was then scouted from 1. FC Nürnberg and signed in 2002 with Bayern Munich. Earlier in his career, he played for Bayern Munich II, but never played for Bayern Munich's senior team. On 8 June 2008, he went on a week-long trial with Halmstads BK and on 23 July 2008, Halmstads BK confirmed that they signed a contract with Görlitz. Kujtim Bala
Kujtim Bala (born 25 May 1990) is a Swedish former footballer of Kosovar descent. Career Starting his career in Veddige BK, he moved at the age of 15 to Halmstads BK in 2005. In 2007, he made a one-year stay in Varbergs BoIS FC before returning to Halmstads BK the following year and on 12 July 2009 he made his debut for the senior team against GAIS when he came on as a substitute for Christian Järdler in the 59th minute. On 16 November 2009 he was raised from the youth squad and was given a place in the senior team. In the 2011 season Bala featured 19 times for Halmstads BK scoring once. After the season his contract expired and he decided to rejoin his former club Varbergs BoIS FC. Robin Malmqvist
Robin Malmkvist (born 13 November 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Malmkvist started his career in Alvesta GIF youth team in 1996, staying with the club until 2000 when then moved to Östers IF. He debuted for Öster in 2005, at the age of 17, in Superettan, helping the club reach Allsvenskan. The time in Allsvenskan was only one year and Öster returned to Superettan, however, Malmkvist missed large part of the season due to a cheekbone injury and saw the club get relegated again. While Öster was promoted back to Superettan in 2009, Malmkvist decided to leave the club and signed for Halmstads BK, which were looking for a replacement for departing Magnus Bahne. Karl Emil Salomonsson (born 28 April 1989) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg as a right back. Career Early career Starting his career in Ekets GoIF, he then moved to Ängelholms FF in 2004. Christian Järdler
Christian Järdler (born 3 June 1982) is a Swedish manager or Örebro SK and former footballer. Career Starting his career in Ängelholms FF, he then moved at the age of 17 to Helsingborgs IF, after being on trial at Halmstads BK. During the middle of the 2005 season he decided to leave Helsingborg and sign for Turkish side Gençlerbirliği. However, his spell with the club lasted only for half a season before Järdler returned home to Sweden and Malmö FF. During his time in Malmö, he suffered a serious injury in a league match against Hammarby IF, when he collided with teammate Raoul Kouakou. Alexander Prent (born 25 May 1983) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a winger for VV Jonathan in the Dutch Derde Klasse.
