2010 Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Season
The 2010 Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup was the fifth Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup season. The season began at Hockenheim on 17 April and finished on 17 October at Nürburgring, after nineteen races. Making its début in the series in 2010 was the new-specification car, designed by Barazi-Epsilon. It replaced the Tatuus chassis that had been in the series since 2000, but the Tatuus cars were still used in the secondary Formula Renault 2000 Class. KEO Racing driver Ludwig Ghidi won the main NEC championship title, having won two races during the season – the season-opening rounds at Hockenheim – but eleven further podiums helped him to claim his first ever car racing title. Mikkel Mac of the KTR team finished the season as runner-up, winning three races at Zandvoort and two at Oschersleben, but only featured three further times on the podium. Epsilon Euskadi
EPIC Racing (Euskadi Phil Imanol Claudio Racing) was a racing team from Spain. The team's headquarters were located in Vitoria ( Alava). It was the second major motorsport team from the Basque Country, (Euskadi). Epsilon Euskadi was the biggest one and ran their own team in World Series by Renault and Formula Renault before selling the racing division to EPIC Racing in March 2011 in a bid to run the World Series by Renault with both FR3.5 and FR2.0 when Epsilon Euskadi ran into financial trouble and allowed all personnel involved to maintain their jobs. Epic Racing was born from a sell out of Epsilon Euskadi and not a name change as it mistakenly written in several places. Luciano Bacheta
Akshay Luciano Bacheta (born 26 April 1990 in Romford, England) is a British professional racecar driver, born to Indian parents with Italian ancestry. Career Bacheta started karting at the age of fourteen in 2004 and stepped up to cars in 2005, racing in the Junior Ginetta series, recording six wins and the most fastest laps and pole positions. In 2006, Bacheta won the T Cars Championship after scoring six consecutive victories mid-season, and edged out Max Chilton by three points. In the off-season, Bacheta moved into open-wheel racing, competing in the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy. At Snetterton, Bacheta won his very first race in a single-seater car, and went on to finish the Autumn Trophy in third place after problems at round two. Interwetten.com Racing is a racing team from Austria. It was founded in 2001 by Walter Raus. Career The team started its career in Formula Volkswagen, and in its second year of operations won the championship with the German driver Sven Barth. In 2004 they moved up to Formula Renault V6 Eurocup with drivers Sven Barth and Jaap van Lagen, with sponsorship from the Austrian bookmaking agency Interwetten, with Barth winning the Monaco race and Van Lagen taking a win Oschersleben. Kelvin Manuel Mathijs Snoeks (born 12 September 1987 in Haarlem) is a Dutch racing driver. In 2010 he competed in the FIA Formula Two Championship. Snoeks stayed in Formula Two for the 2011 season. Bob Siska
Robert Siska (born December 1, 1942) is an American former tennis player and motorsport driver. A left-handed player from San Francisco, Siska made the singles third round of the 1959 U.S. National Championships as a teenager and competed on the international tour through the 1960s. He featured in the Wimbledon singles main draw four times and won his first round match in 1963, over Ion Țiriac. At the tournament now known as the Cincinnati Masters, he reached the round of 16 in singles in 1965. Siska, who worked in real estate, financed his own career in motor racing after tennis. He competed in several seasons of the Atlantic Championship and later in the Formula Renault. André Negrão (born 17 June 1992, Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian driver in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), world champion in the WEC's superseason 2018/2019 and twice winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2018 and 2019) in the LMP2 class. Autodrom Most
Autodrom Most is a hard-surfaced long race track for motorsport outside of the city of Most in the northwest of the Czech Republic. The racing circuit was built between 1978 and 1983, but the Most district was known for organizing motorcycle and car races earlier. Autodrome is used for races of cars, trucks, motorcycles and free circuit rides, but also for test rides of developed cars, training of drivers of fire engines, ambulance and police cars, as well as training of drivers in crisis situations, etc. In April 2021, the Most round was announced as being added into the Superbike World Championship series with a five-year agreement.
