2010 European Track Championships – Men's Team Sprint
The men's team sprint was one of the six men's events at the 2010 European Track Championships, held in Pruszków Pruszków ( yi, ‏פּרושקאָוו) is a city in east-central Poland, situated in the Masovian Voivodeship since 1999. It was previously in Warszawa Voivodeship (1975–1998). Pruszków is the capital of Pruszków County, located along t ..., Poland. Eleven teams of two cyclists each participated in the contest. After the qualifying, the fastest two teams raced for gold, and the 3rd and 4th teams raced for bronze. The qualifying and the finals were held on 5 November. Denis Sergeyevich Dmitriev (russian: Денис Сергеевич Дмитриев; born 23 March 1986) is a Russian track cyclist. Specialising in the sprint events, Dmitriev's best result in international sports was winning a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships in Hong Kong. At the 2016 Summer Olympics he succeeded to the bronze medal race in sprint, winning the medal. Dmitriev is a four-time European Champion at senior level in the Sprint event for men, and the most successful sprint cyclist in the competitions's history. He shared the men's sprint title with Adam Ptáčník and Denis Špička at the Czech Track Cycling Championships, and later represented the Czech Republic at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
