2010 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Season
The 2010 Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs season was the 76th in the club's history. They competed in the National Rugby League's 2010 Telstra Cup Premiership under coach Kevin Moore. They finished the regular season 13th (out of 16), failing to make the finals. Telstra Premiership The club welcomed a new logo and the re-instatement of the "Canterbury-Bankstown" prefix after spending the previous 11 seasons as simply the "Bulldogs". Club record-holder and pointscorer Hazem El Masri had retired at the end of the 2009 season and did not play in 2010. Former Australian swimming team coach Alan Thompson, a long-time supporter of the Bulldogs, was appointed general manager of the club's football operations on 15 April 2010. Todd Greenberg
Todd Greenberg (born 2 July 1971) is an Australian rugby league administrator who was Chief Executive Officer of the NRL between March 2016 and April 2020. Background Greenberg was born in 1971 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He is Jewish. He went to high school at Sydney Tech. His grandfather, Dr Les Greenberg, was the first medical officer to the New South Wales Rugby League. Career Greenberg represented Australia in cricket at two editions of the Maccabiah Games, an international multi-sport event for Jewish athletes. Greenberg completed a sports science degree at the University of New South Wales and a part-time master's degree at University of Technology Sydney. Between 1993 and 1998 Greenberg worked for Cricket NSW as Events & Promotions Manager. Greenberg joined the NRL club Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2001 as Operations and Events Manager. Wollongong Showground
Wollongong Showground, known as WIN Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Wollongong, Australia. The stadium was officially opened in 1911. From 1982 until 1998 it played host to every home match for the Illawarra Steelers NRL team, and is still the team's home ground in the lower grade competitions. It is now used as one home ground of the St George Illawarra Dragons rugby league side and Wollongong Wolves of the National Premier Leagues NSW. History Origin The stadium was originally used primarily for agricultural shows and hosted a greyhound racing track as well, the name of the venue prior to 1911 was the Wollongong Showground. New Zealand Warriors
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are officially known as the One New Zealand Warriors for sponsorship reasons. The Warriors are coached by Andrew Webster and captained by Tohu Harris. The Warriors are based at Mount Smart Stadium in the Auckland suburb of Penrose. For the 1995 season the newly formed Auckland Warriors became the first club from outside Australia to be admitted to the Australian Rugby League's premiership when it expanded from 16 to 20 teams. The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional Rugby league, Rugby League Football Club based in the Eastern Suburbs (Sydney) and parts of inner Sydney. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League premiership, New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions. Stadium Australia, currently known as Accor Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Sydney Olympic Park, in Sydney, Australia. Newcastle Knights
The Newcastle Knights are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Newcastle, New South Wales. They compete in Australasia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership.
