2009–10 Ukrainian Cup
The 2009–10 Ukrainian Cup was the 19th annual season of Ukraine's Association football, football knockout competition, currently known as ''DATAGROUP – Football Ukraine Cup'' or ''Kubok of Ukraine''. The Cup began with the preliminary round where teams from Ukrainian Second League 2009–10, Druha Liha and Amateur Cup champions participate. In the Second Preliminary Round teams from Ukrainian First League 2008–09, Persha Liha are drawn into the competition and then in the Round of 32 teams from the Ukrainian Premier League 2008–09, Premier League enter the competition. Tavriya Simferopol defeated FC Metalurh Donetsk, Metalurh Donetsk 3–2 in the Cup Final and are Ukraine's Cup Winner representative in the UEFA Europa League 2010–11#Play-off round, play-off round of the UEFA Europa League 2010–11. FC Vorskla Poltava ( uk, ФК «Во́рскла» Полта́ва ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Poltava that competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top flight of Ukrainian football. FC Hirnyk-Sport Horishni Plavni is a Ukrainian football club based in Horishni Plavni, Poltava Oblast. The club competes in the First League. The club is sponsored by Ferrexpo. History The club was founded in 1989. After some above average performances in the KFK 3rd Zone (Central Ukraine) Amateur Championship the club's administration decided to enter the professional league. However, at this level the club has continually struggled and has had only 2 winning seasons since entering this level of competition. The club plays its football games at "Yunist" (Youth) Stadium. Narodnyy Klub Veres Rivne ( uk, РНК «Верес») is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Rivne. The club competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, the top tier of Ukrainian football, after winning the 2020–21 Ukrainian First League. Their home stadium until 2017 was Avanhard Stadium.
