2009–10 Stevenage Borough F.C. Season
The 2009–10 season was Stevenage Borough F.C.'s 16th season in the Conference Premier. This article shows statistics of the club's players in the season, and also lists all matches that the club played during the season. Their fifth-place finish and subsequent play-off semi-final defeat in the 2008–09 season meant it was their sixteenth successive season of playing in the Conference Premier. It also marked the second year in charge for manager Graham Westley during his second spell at the club; having previously managed the Hertfordshire club from 2003 to 2006. The majority of the squad from the 2008–09 season were retained, with little transfer activity in comparison to previous seasons. 2009–10 Football Conference
The 2009–10 Football Conference season was the sixth season with the Football Conference consisting of three divisions, and the thirty-first season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. The Conference Premier was the fifth highest level of the overall pyramid, while the Conference North and Conference South existed at the sixth level. The top team (Stevenage Borough F.C., Stevenage Borough) and the winner of the play-off (Oxford United F.C., Oxford United) of the National division were promoted to Football League Two. The bottom four were scheduled to be relegated to the North or South divisions, but in the event two teams (Salisbury City F.C., Salisbury City and Chester City F.C., Chester City) were expelled and only the bottom two clubs (Ebbsfleet United F.C., Ebbsfleet United and Grays Athletic F.C., Grays Athletic) were relegated with them. Calum Willock
Calum Daniel Willock (born 29 October 1981) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. In his career, he played in each of the top seven levels of English football. Born in England, he represented the Saint Kitts and Nevis national team internationally. Beginning his career with Fulham in 2000, he enjoyed loan spells with Queens Park Rangers, Bristol Rovers, and Peterborough United, before switching permanently to Peterborough in 2003. In 2006, he signed with Brentford, moving to Port Vale in summer 2007. He switched to Stevenage Borough in January 2008 before joining Crawley Town the following year. Tim Sills
Timothy Sills (born 10 September 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is manager of Wimborne Town. Sills was a product of Millwall's youth system and was a regular in the club's youth team up until he left in 1997. He then joined part-time outfit Camberley Town, spending a year and a half at the club, before moving to Basingstoke Town towards the end of the 1998–99 season. Sills spent three seasons with Basingstoke, playing over 100 games for the club. Stacy Long
Stacy William Long (born 11 January 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Long started his football career at Charlton Athletic in 1995 and progressed through the youth system, spending ten years on the club's books, and although a regular in the reserve team, he did not make a first-team appearance. Before the start of the 2005–06 season, Long joined Notts County after being released from Charlton. He spent one season at the club, before moving into non-league with Ebbsfleet United in July 2006. Joel Alan Byrom (born 14 September 1986) is an English professional association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Northern Premier League Division One West club Clitheroe F.C., Clitheroe.
