2009–10 Slohokej League Season
The 2009–10 Slohokej League season was the first season of the Slohokej League. The competition was made up of six teams from Slovenia, two teams from Croatia, and one team from Austria and Serbia each. The season was composed of the regular season and the playoffs. In the regular season, each team played triple round-robin with 27 games. The best eight teams of the regular season advanced to the playoffs. Maribor became the first champions on 2 March 2009. Slohokej League
The Slohokej League (''Slohokej Liga'') was a multinational ice hockey league in Europe. The competition was made up from teams from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Austria. A few teams in the league were the farm teams for clubs that played in the EBEL – Erste Bank Eishockey Liga (Jesenice and Olimpija). Other Slovenian teams used the league for future development of young Slovenian players and had the majority of their team rosters made up from players of the age of 21 and younger. Dvorana Velesajam
Dvorana Velesajam is an ice arena located in Zagreb, Croatia. The capacity of the arena is 500 and it is located at Ulica Jozefa Antala BB, in Novi Zagreb. Throughout the weekdays the arena is mainly used by those training ice hockey and skating. On some weekends the arena is also available to the public for recreational skating. Kranj
Kranj (, german: Krainburg) is the third-largest city in Slovenia, with a population of 37,941 (2020). It is located approximately northwest of Ljubljana. The centre of the City Municipality of Kranj and of the traditional region of Upper Carniola (northwestern Slovenia) is a mainly industrial city with significant electronics and rubber industries. Pionir Ice Hall ( sr, Ледена дворана Пионир, Ledena dvorana Pionir) is an ice hall in sports complex "Pionir", the youngest of the sports facility within the sports and recreation center "Tašmajdan", and is designed for all sports on the ice. It is located in Belgrade, Serbia. It was opened on March 12, 1978, and has 2 000 seats and it was partially renovated in 2001. The usable area of the hall is 6000 m2, and the ice area is 1800 m2. Ljubljana
Ljubljana (also known by other historical names) is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative center. HK Olimpija
Hokejski klub Olimpija ( en, Olimpija Hockey Club), currently named HK Slovenske železnice Olimpija due to sponsorship reasons, is an ice hockey club from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The club competes in the ICE Hockey League and the Slovenian League. Founded in 2004 as a farm team of HDD Olimpija, the club turned professional in 2017 after HDD Olimpija folded.
