Dunfermline Athletic F
Dunfermline (; sco, Dunfaurlin, gd, Dùn Phàrlain) is a city, parish and former Royal Burgh, in Fife, Scotland, on high ground from the northern shore of the Firth of Forth. The city currently has an estimated population of 58,508. According to the National Records of Scotland, the Greater Dunfermline area has a population of 76,210. The earliest known settlements in the area around Dunfermline probably date as far back as the Neolithic period. The area was not regionally significant until at least the Bronze Age. The 2006–07 season was the 110th season of competitive football in Scotland. Notable events 2006 *9 July: Rangers defender Fernando Ricksen is banned for the club's pre-season trip to South Africa, following an incident on the outbound flight. Manager Paul Le Guen cited "wholly inappropriate and unacceptable" behaviour as the reason for Ricksen's omission. Ricksen later admitted that he fears for his future at Rangers claiming that the club have other motives for wanting him out. Scott Robertson (footballer Born 1985)
Scott Robertson (born 7 April 1985) is a Scottish football player and coach, who currently serves as a coach at Dundee. Robertson is a midfielder, who previously played for Dundee, Peterhead, Dundee United, Blackpool, Hibernian, Romanian club Botosani, Raith Rovers, Brechin City and Forfar Athletic, and was also formerly the assistant manager of Forfar. He also represented Scotland twice in full international matches. Croft Park
Blyth Spartans Association Football Club is a football club based in Blyth, Northumberland. They are currently members of and play at Croft Park. They were founded in September 1899 by Fred Stoker, who was the club's first secretary before forming a practice as a distinguished physician in London's Harley Street. He thought it appropriate to name the team after the Greek Spartan army in the hope that the players would give their all as they went into 'battle' on the field of play. The club is most notable for its 1977–78 FA Cup campaign, in which they went all the way to the fifth round, eventually losing to Wrexham in a replay at St James' Park. Graham Bayne (born 22 August 1979) is a Scottish retired professional footballer who last played for Elgin City. Career Bayne joined Inverness Caley Thistle from local rivals Ross County, having previously played for Dundee, Arbroath and his local side Raith Rovers having been born in Kirkcaldy. Greg Ross (footballer)
Greg Ross (born 2 May 1987) is a Scottish former footballer who played as a right back. Early life and education Ross was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ross joined the Dunfermline Athletic youth initiative when he was 14. Career He debuted at 17 years and 202 days against Kilmarnock in 2004, becoming the youngest ever player to start a SPL match for the ''Pars''. On 26 November 2005, Ross scored the only goal as Dunfermline sensationally beat Celtic at Celtic Park. He was sent on loan to Third Division side Cowdenbeath in September 2008, after undergoing two knee operations in 15 months. Forthbank Stadium is a football stadium in Stirling, Scotland. Opened in 1993, it has been the home ground of Scottish Professional Football League club Stirling Albion since then. Since 2013 it has also hosted the first team matches of Lowland Football League team University of Stirling. The stadium has a capacity of 3,808. The pitch size is 110 x 74 yards. Joseph Cardle (born 7 February 1987) is an English footballer who plays for club Kelty Hearts. Cardle tends to be played as a winger but can play on either side. Starting his career at Port Vale in 2005, he made occasional appearances in his three years as a senior player at the club. Following a loan spell with Clyde in 2007, he signed with Scottish club Airdrie United in 2008, winning that year's Scottish Challenge Cup.
