2009–10 BFA Senior League
The 2009–10 BFA Senior League is the third season of the league playing under its present format, which involves the top teams from the Grand Bahama and New Providence Soccer Leagues. Previously, the league was a tournament between the top teams of each island, but is now the top flight of Bahamian football. The competition features the winners of the New Providence Football League and the Grand Bahamas Football League to determine the top club in The Bahamas, as well as the nation's qualifier for the CFU Club Championship. IM Bears FC won the championship, failing to win only one match in the process. The 2012 CFU Club Champions’ Cup was the 14th edition of the CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). Sharks FC
Rivers United Football Club is a professional football club based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State that participates in the Nigerian Professional Football League, the highest level of domestic Nigerian football. The club was formed by the merger of Sharks F.C. and Dolphins F.C. in 2016. Renegades Football Club (formerly known as Lyford Cay Football Club) is a Bahamian Association football, football club based in Lyford Cay while playing its home game in the capital Nassau, Bahamas, Nassau. The team plays in the BFA Senior League. The team is also known by its nickname of the Ospreys (the Dragons until 2015), to distinguish it from a second Lyford Cay FC that has simultaneously played in the BFA Senior League (as recently as 2013–14) nicknamed the "Lyford Cay FC (Warriors), Warriors". Freeport, Bahamas
Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area. New Providence
New Providence is the most populous island in the Bahamas, containing more than 70% of the total population. It is the location of the national capital city of Nassau, whose boundaries are coincident with the island; it had a population of 246,329 at the 2010 Census; the latest estimate (2016) is 274,400.
