Ryo Kawamura
is a Japanese mixed martial artist, professional wrestler, and the former executive president of Pancrase Inc. A professional MMA competitor from 2005 until 2014, Kawamura most notably competed for Pancrase, where he is the former King of Pancrase Middleweight Champion and Light Heavyweight Champion. In MMA, also competed for World Victory Road and ONE FC. Kawamura at the time when he was executive president founded the "Commission Council" as a third-party organization. He carried out structural reforms in Pancrase. Debuting in professional wrestling for Dramatic Dream Team's Hard Hit brand in 2012, he has wrestled in promotions like All Japan Pro Wrestling, Real Japan Pro Wrestling, Kaientai Dojo and Pro Wrestling Heat Up. Masanori Kanehara
Masanori Kanehara (born November 18, 1982) is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently competing the Bantamweight division in DEEP and Rizin FF. A professional competitor since 2003, Kanehara has formerly competed for World Victory Road, K-1, the UFC, Pancrase, ZST, and also made an appearance at Dynamite!! 2009. Kanehara is the 2009 Sengoku Featherweight Grand Prix Champion and inaugural Sengoku Featherweight Champion. Mixed martial arts career Early career Kanehara made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2003, and compiled a record of 13-6-5 before being signed by World Victory Road. Masahiro Oishi
Masahiro Oishi (born November 29, 1968) is a Japanese mixed martial artist. He competes in the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions. He has competed for numerous promotions during his career, most notably Shooto, Pancrase and ZST. He is the former Shooto World Featherweight (132 lb) Champion. Martial arts career Oishi made his debut in 1993, in Shooto, when he faced Yoshiaki Murai, winning a unanimous decision. He would accumulate a 7-5-3- record, but earned a title shot off of a two fight win streak over Masaki Nishizawa and Yoshinobu Ota. During Shooto: To The Top 10, he faced the reigning featherweight champion Mamoru Yamaguchi. He won the fight in the first round by submission. Pancrase Inc. is a mixed martial arts promotion company founded in Japan in 1993 by professional wrestlers Masakatsu Funaki and Minoru Suzuki. The name was based on pankration, a fighting sport in the Ancient Olympic Games. Suzuki and Funaki practiced catch wrestling. They based the promotion and its rules on professional wrestling. The promotion's champions were called "King of Pancrase". The rules allowed closed-fisted punches, except to the head, and palm strikes to the head. A wrestler must break a submission hold when the opponent reaches the ropes, but a wrestler who claims a rope break loses a point. A wrestler who claims a specified number of rope breaks (between 3 and 5) was disqualified. From 1998 to 2000, the promotion changed its rules to resemble other mixed martial arts promotions. Sherdog is an American website devoted to the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). It also has many forums and discussion pages on the many topics of MMA like records, promotions, etc. The site is a member of the CraveOnline network and provides MMA related content for ESPN.com.
