The men's finweight competition was the lightest class featured at the 2009 World Taekwondo Championships, and was held at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark on October 17. Finweights were limited to a maximum of 54 kilograms in body mass. Ballerup Super Arena
Ballerup Super Arena (formerly Siemens Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena, in Ballerup, Denmark. The velodrome has a seated capacity of 6,500. During concerts, the arena can accommodate an audience of up to 9,200. It is owned by Ballerup Municipality. The arena is also a venue for many company events, conferences, team building events, trade fairs, company sports events and cycling events. The arena was opened in 2001. In 2003, the roof collapsed, as a result of a miscalculation in design and the new roof was reinforced with cables. It's the only international indoor velodrome in the Nordic countries. Seyfula Seferovich Magomedov (russian: Сейфула Сеферович Магомедов; born May 15, 1983, in Makhachkala, Dagestan ASSR) is a Russian taekwondo practitioner, who competed in the men's flyweight category, the first ever four-time European Taekwondo Champion. Emerging as Russia's most decorated taekwondo player of all time, Magomedov accrued a set of twenty-one medals in his sporting career, including four European men's flyweight titles, three bronzes from the World Championships, and a single gold from the 2005 Summer Universiade in Izmir, Turkey. Jason Tan (taekwondo)
Jason Tan (born 1982) is a retired English mixed martial artist and currently a head coach of MMA Liverpool. He formerly competed in the welterweight division. Biography Tan started out in kickboxing at the age of 15 before studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA. It is said in previous interviews that Tan's inspiration to study Jiu Jitsu and MMA was through watching Rickson Gracie's ''Choke'' documentary. Tan has travelled extensively to pursue training in mixed martial arts.
