2009 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship
The UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2009 Final Tournament was held in Ukraine in the cities of Donetsk and Mariupol. Players born after 1 January 1990 were eligible to participate in this competition. Mariupol
Mariupol is a city in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is situated on the northern coast (Pryazovia) of the Sea of Azov, at the mouth of the Kalmius, Kalmius River. Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, it was the tenth-largest city in the country and the second-largest city in Donetsk Oblast, with an estimated population of 425,681 people in January 2022; as of August 2023, Ukrainian authorities estimate the population of Mariupol at approximately 120,000. István Vad (born 30 May 1979) is a Hungarian football referee. He has been an international FIFA-listed official since 2007. His father, István Vad Sr., was also an international referee who previously played as a forward for Ferencváros, while his grandfather (also named István Vad) was a referee in Hungary. His sister, Anita Vad, also referees football. Because of his footballing lineage, Vad is known in Hungary as István Vad II. Ovidiu (, historical name: ''Canara'', ) is a town situated a few kilometres north of Constanța in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. Ovidiu is quite small, with a population of 13,968 as of 2021, and many wealthy inhabitants of Constanța retire there. Orhan Mustafi (; born 4 April 1990 in Kumanovo, SR Macedonia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Swiss footballer of Albanian descent who plays for Young Fellows Juventus.
