Jimmy Casper
Jimmy Casper (born 28 May 1978 in Montdidier, Somme) is a French retired road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional between 1998 and 2012. He is best known for winning stage 1 of 2006 Tour de France. Career He has on two occasions finished in last place in the General classification of the Tour de France, thereby 'winning' the red lantern. Casper was suspended from his team, Agritubel because he tested positive for corticosteroid, an asthma drug that is banned unless the user has a medical exemption for its use, during the 2008 Tour de France by the Agence Française de Lutte contre le Dopage. The exemption had been renewed but with a previous asthma medication than the one prescribed and used during the Tour de France. He has been cleared of any charges during the hearing held by the Fédération Française de Cyclisme. Matthew Harley Goss (born 5 November 1986) is a former Australian professional road and track racing cyclist, his final professional team before retirement was the UCI Professional Continental team . He first competed in track cycling before making a transition to the road. He earned a gold medal at the 2006 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in the Team Pursuit event and came in second place at the 2011 World Championships Road race. He also won the 2010 GP Ouest-France, the 2011 Milan–San Remo as well as 2 stages of the Giro d'Italia, among other victories. Denain (; pcd, Dnain) is a commune in the Nord department in northern France. Denain had a population of 19,877, on a land area of 11.52 km² (4.448 sq mi). It is the largest of 47 communes which comprise the Communauté d'agglomération de la Porte du Hainaut, which in 2017 had a total population of 158,754. History A mere village in the beginning of the 19th century, its population rapidly increased from 1850 until 1962, when it had 29,467 inhabitants. Since then its population declined by about 30%. Roberto Ferrari (born 9 March 1983) is an Italian former professional cyclist, who competed professionally between 2007 and 2019 for the Tenax, , , , and teams. Career Ferrari was born in Gavardo. After stage 3 of the 2012 Giro d'Italia in Horsens, Denmark, Ferrari was relegated from 10th to 192nd position after the race jury ruled that he was responsible for a crash that brought down world champion Mark Cavendish and race leader Taylor Phinney since he swerved from the left to the right side of the road in the final meters.
