Gachibowli Indoor Stadium
G. M. C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium is an indoor arena located in Hyderabad, India. It holds 5,000 people. It is located in the Gachibowli suburb. The stadium was built in 2002 headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu Government to host the 2003 Afro -Asian games. The indoor stadium is located beside the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, Hyderabad International Institute of Information Technology. The Sport venue, venue hosted the 2009 BWF World Championships. It is one of the home arenas for the India's prime basketball league, the UBA Pro Basketball League. In 2017, 3rd edition of TEDxHyderabad was conducted in Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Kamilla Rytter Juhl
Kamilla Rytter Juhl (born 23 November 1983) is a retired Danish badminton player. Juhl is an Olympic silver medalist, World Championship gold medalist and seven times European champion as well. Career Rytter Juhl played as a left-handed doubles specialist. Juhl enjoyed a successful mixed doubles career with Thomas Laybourn, winning the 2009 BWF World Championships and two European titles in 2006 and 2010. The pair also won the BWF World Superseries Finals in 2008, and won a total of two Superseries titles. After Laybourn's retirement, Rytter Juhl played mixed doubles with Mads Pieler Kolding, and the pair came runner-up in the 2014 European Championships, losing out to their Danish teammates Christinna Pedersen and Joachim Fischer Nielsen in the final. Lena Frier Kristiansen
Lena Frier Kristiansen (born 12 March 1983) is a badminton player from Denmark. In 2001, she won the silver and bronze medals at the European Junior Championships in the mixed team and doubles respectively. Partneres with Kamilla Rytter Juhl, they won the bronze medal the 2006 European Championships in the women's doubles event, and made it to the gold medal in 2008. They also competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, but was defeated in the first round by the Japanese pair Kumiko Ogura and Reiko Shiota in the rubber games. Chien Yu-chin
Chien Yu-chin (; born 24 October 1982) is a Taiwanese former badminton player. Summer Olympics Chien competed for Chinese Taipei in the 2004 Olympics in the women's doubles with partner Cheng Wen-hsing. They defeated Helen Nichol and Charmaine Reid of Canada in the first round but were defeated by Hwang Yu-mi and Lee Hyo-jung of South Korea in the round of 16. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, again with Cheng, they lost to Wei Yili and Zhang Yawen of China in the quarter-finals. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she teamed up with Cheng again, but they lost to Tian Qing and Zhao Yunlei, the eventual winners, in the quarterfinal. Cheng Wen-hsing
Cheng Wen-hsing (; born 24 February 1982) is a Taiwanese former badminton player. She is now works as German national team coach. Career Cheng competed for Chinese Taipei in the 2004 Olympics in the women's doubles with partner Chien Yu-chin. They defeated Helen Nichol and Charmaine Reid of Canada in the first round but were defeated by Hwang Yu-mi and Lee Hyo-jung of South Korea in the round of 16. Cheng also competed in the mixed doubles with partner Tsai Chia-hsin. They defeated Chris Dednam and Antoinette Uys of South Africa in the first round, but lost to Zhang Jun and Gao Ling of China in the round of 16. During the 2008 Summer Olympics, Cheng again teamed with Chien Yu-chin in the women's doubles, reaching the quarter-finals. This pair also reached the quarter-finals at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Lee Kyung-won (Hangul: 이경원, Hanja: 李敬元; ; born 21 January 1980 in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do) is a badminton player from South Korea. Lee was the women's doubles gold medallist at the 2002 Asian Games. She competed at the Olympic Games in 2000, 2004, and 2008, winning women's doubles bronze in 2004, and silver in 2008. She captured the women's doubles gold at the Asian Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Lee educated at the Sungji Girls' Middle School, Sungji Girls' High School, and graduated from the Yong In University. Lee Hyo-jung (badminton)
Lee Hyo-jung (Hangul: 이효정, Hanja: 李孝貞; ; born 13 January 1981) is a South Korean former badminton player. She won the gold medal in badminton mixed doubles at the 2008 Summer Olympics with her partner, Lee Yong-dae. Lee Hyo-jung and Lee Yong-dae were unseeded, and in the finals they beat the top seeds and 2005 and 2007 world champions Lilyana Natsir and Nova Widianto of Indonesia, 21-11, 21-17. Lee Hyo-jung also won the silver medal in badminton women's doubles at the aforementioned Olympics with Lee Kyung-won; they were seeded fourth and lost to the second-seeded Chinese pair, Du Jing and Yu Yang. Lee became the first woman in Korean history to win gold medals at both the Olympics and the Asian Games. Wong Pei Tty (, born 11 November 1981) is a former doubles badminton player from Malaysia. Currently, she works as an assistant coach for Malaysia women's double national team. Career Wong competed in badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in women's doubles with partner Chin Eei Hui. They defeated Seiko Yamada and Shizuka Yamamoto of Japan in the first round but were defeated by Gao Ling and Huang Sui of China in the round of 16. Together, Wong and Chin achieved much success by winning Superseries and Superseries Finals titles. They also clinched gold and bronze medals in 2010 and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Although not well known as a mixed doubles player, Wong created history for Malaysia as the only female player to have won a medal in mixed doubles at the World Championships and Asian Games in the same year (2006), with different partners. Chin Eei Hui
Chin Eei Hui (; Hakka Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: Chhìn Ngì-fui; born 18 June 1982) is a former badminton player from Malaysia who plays in both women's and mixed doubles. She worked as a coach for Malaysia's national women's doubles players of which the contract ended in 2020. Starting from 2021 until now, she partners with Li-Ning and work with independent players such as Tan Kian Meng, Lai Pei Jing, Teo Ee Yi and Ong Yew Sin. Career Chin Eei Hui and her former women's doubles partner, Wong Pei Tty have ranked as high as No. 1 worldwide.
