The 2009 All-Big Ten Conference football team consists of American football players chosen as All-Big Ten Conference players for the 2009 Big Ten Conference football season. The conference recognizes two official All-Big Ten selectors: (1) the Big Ten conference coaches selected separate offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Coaches" team); and (2) a panel of sports writers and broadcasters covering the Big Ten also selected offensive and defensive units and named first- and second-team players (the "Media" team). 2009 Big Ten Conference Football Season
The 2009 Big Ten Conference football season was the 114th for the conference, and saw Ohio State conclude the regular season as Big Ten Conference champion for the 5th consecutive time, their 34th Big Ten title. This earned them the conference's automatic selection to a Bowl Championship Series game in which it emerged victorious in the January 1, 2010 Rose Bowl against Oregon Ducks. Co-runner-up, Iowa, earned the conference's at-large BCS invitation to the January 5, 2010 Orange Bowl. The season started on Thursday, September 3, as conference member Indiana hosted Eastern Kentucky. Stefen Wisniewski
Stefen David Wisniewski (born March 22, 1989) is a former American football guard and center. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Penn State. He also played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers. College career Wisniewski became the first Penn State Football student-athlete to be named an ESPN Academic All-American three times, having been a first team selection in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Alacce O'Brien Schofield (born April 3, 1987) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and played for them for three seasons. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks during their Super Bowl XLVIII championship season and the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at Wisconsin. Adrian Clayborn
Adrian Jarrell Clayborn (born July 6, 1988) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football for the University of Iowa, and earned consensus All-American honors. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Clayborn also played for the Atlanta Falcons, the Cleveland Browns and the New England Patriots. With the Patriots, he won Super Bowl LIII over the Los Angeles Rams. Personal life Clayborn was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Garrett Graham (born August 4, 1986) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Wisconsin and was selected by the Houston Texans in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Early years Graham attended Brick Memorial High School in Brick Township, New Jersey. He was a tight end, defensive end, punter and kicker. Kyle Calloway (June 21, 1987 – July 2, 2016) was an American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Iowa. Calloway was considered to be a late-round draft prospect in the 2010 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Hartford Colonials and Baltimore Ravens football teams. Gabriel Andrew Carimi ( ; born June 13, 1988) is a former American football guard. Carimi had 49 starts at left tackle in his four-year Wisconsin Badgers college career, which culminated at the 2011 Rose Bowl. He was awarded the 2010 Outland Trophy, as the nation's top collegiate interior lineman. He was also a unanimous All-American, and the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year. Dennis Patrick Landolt (born October 15, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played college football at the Pennsylvania State University. Landolt has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets.
