2008 Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship
The 2008 Women's EuroHockey Junior Championships was the 14th edition of the Women's EuroHockey Junior Championship, an under 21 women's field hockey tournament. It was held in Lille, France, from 20–26 July 2008. Germany won the tournament for the eighth time after defeating the Netherlands 2–1 in the final. England won the bronze medal, defeating Belarus 5–2 in the third place playoff. Valencia, Spain

Nicola White, (born 20 January 1988) is an English international field hockey player who plays as a forward for England and Great Britain. She now plays club hockey in the Women's England Hockey League Premier Division for Hampstead & Westminster, joining the club for the 2020-21 season after many successful years playing for Holcombe. Sophie Charlotte Bray, (born 12 May 1990) is an English international field hockey player who played as a forward for England women's national field hockey team, England and Great Britain women's national field hockey team, Great Britain. She currently plays club hockey in the Investec Women's Hockey League Premier Division for East Grinstead Hockey Club, East Grinstead. The Sabines (; lat, Sabini; it, Sabini, all exonyms) were an Italic people who lived in the central Apennine Mountains of the ancient Italian Peninsula, also inhabiting Latium north of the Anio before the founding of Rome. The Sabines divided into two populations just after the founding of Rome, which is described by Roman legend. The division, however it came about, is not legendary. Career Club hockey Vorstenbosch was introduced to hockey at age five, playing for Vlijmense. Throughout her senior career, Vorstenbosch played her club hockey at Den Bosch.
