The 2008 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification or GP Challenge was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings used to determine the 3 riders that would qualify for the 2008 Speedway Grand Prix. Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The Speedway Grand Prix Challenge or Speedway Grand Prix Qualification is an annual speedway qualifying tournament to determine the qualifiers for the Speedway Grand Prix, which is the World Championship of speedway. History From 1995 the Individual World Championship was replaced by the Grand Prix system. The 17 qualifiers for the 1995 Grand Prix were the top 10 from the 1994 World final, 5 seeds and 2 wildcards. From 1996, the leading riders from each Grand Prix series would automatically qualifying for the following year's event. The remaining places would be filled by the leading riders in the Challenge event and qualifiers from the both the Continental Speedway Final and Intercontinental Final. However, the latter two finals would come to end in 2000 and 2001 respectively. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Career summary Kasprzak became the European Champion in 2003 after winning the 2003 Individual Speedway European Championship. He also made his British speedway debut after joining Poole Pirates. The following year in 2004, he broke into the Poland team, representing them in the 2004 Speedway World Cup. In 2005, he won European Pairs Championship and Under-21 World Cup for Poland. Rafał Dobrucki (born 27 December 1976 Poland) is a Polish former speedway rider. Career On 25 July 1999 he won the Continental Final, which formed part of the 2000 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification. Wiesław Jaguś
Wiesław Jaguś (born 13 September 1975) is a former Polish speedway rider. Career In August 2006, during the Speedway Grand Prix Qualification he won the GP Challenge, which ensured that he claimed a permanent slot for the 2007 Grand Prix. He duly rode in the 2007 Speedway Grand Prix series. He won the European Pairs Champion in 2007. Jaguś retired from competitive speedway at the close of the 2010 season, after starting his career in 1992. Nominated to "2008 Toruń Citizen of the Year" Gazeta Wyborcza. ''Grand Prix Challenge'' is a Formula One racing video game developed by Australian developer Infogrames Melbourne House and published by Infogrames for PlayStation 2. It was released in Europe on 22 November 2002, and was officially licensed by Formula One Administration. It was later released on 28 February 2003 in New Zealand and Australia, 3 March in North America and 22 May in Japan. The game features all the drivers, cars and circuits from the 2002 Formula One season. Australian developer Torus Games also supplied the art for the Silverstone ( UK), Magny-Cours (France) and Montreal (Canada) racing tracks. Cars in the game are made of around 17,000 polygons. Jan Fredrik Tobias (Freddie) Lindgren (born 15 September 1985) is a Swedish motorcycle speedway rider. He has twice won the bronze medal at the Speedway World Championship and won the world team championships in 2015. Career Born in Örebro, Sweden. Lindgren's father Tommy was a speedway rider before him, and his younger brother Ludvig also rides. Lindgren first appeared for Wolverhampton Wolves during the 2003 season as the team struggled with injuries. At the age of just 17, Freddie made his debut for the team and impressed enough to be brought back the following season when again injuries hit the club. In 2005, he moved over to full-time and averaged 7.44 for Wolves in his debut full season and in 2006 he improved to average 8.12. However, he did not ride as a full-time professional until 2000. Pedersen began his UK racing career with the Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier League.
