2008 Malmö FF Season
The 2008 season was Malmö FF's 97th in existence, their 73rd season in Allsvenskan and their 8th consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan where they finished in 6th position and Svenska Cupen where they were knocked out in the fourth round. The season was Roland Nilssons first season as Malmö FF manager and the last season for the club at Malmö Stadion before moving to Swedbank Stadion for the 2009 season. To celebrate the club's 51-year stay at the stadium, an alternative home kit was used for the first and last match of the league season. The last league match at Malmö Stadion was played against GIF Sundsvall on 9 November and won 6–0 by Malmö FF. Malmö FF
Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF, Malmö, or MFF, is a professional football club and the most successful football club in Sweden in terms of trophies won. Formed in 1910 and affiliated with the Scania Football Association, Malmö FF is based at Eleda Stadion in Malmö, Scania. The club has won a record 22 Swedish championship titles and the most national cup titles with 15. Malmö FF won its first Championship in 1944. Christian Järdler
Christian Järdler (born 3 June 1982) is a Swedish manager or Örebro SK and former footballer. Career Starting his career in Ängelholms FF, he then moved at the age of 17 to Helsingborgs IF, after being on trial at Halmstads BK. During the middle of the 2005 season he decided to leave Helsingborg and sign for Turkish side Gençlerbirliği. However, his spell with the club lasted only for half a season before Järdler returned home to Sweden and Malmö FF. During his time in Malmö, he suffered a serious injury in a league match against Hammarby IF, when he collided with teammate Raoul Kouakou. The collision resulted in a broken cheekbone and a severe headache, which haunted him afterwards. In early 2009 Järdler left Malmö FF and signed for league rival Halmstads BK. Mike Jensen
Mike Lindemann Jensen (; born 19 February 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish 1st Division club HB Køge. He has also been capped by Denmark. Jensen joined the Brøndby youth academy at age 13, and made his professional debut for the club in the 2006–07 season as a promising talent. Guillermo Federico Molins Palmeiro (; born 26 September 1988) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for Sarpsborg 08. Beginning his career with Malmö FF in 2006, he has gone on to play professionally in Belgium, Spain, China, Greece, and Norway. Charalambos "Babis" Stefanidis ( el, Χαράλαμπος "Μπάμπης" Στεφανίδης; born 8 March 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, and now manager. Rick Kruys
Rick Kruijs, commonly known as Rick Kruys, (born 9 May 1985) is a Dutch professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Eerste Divisie club VVV-Venlo. His father, Gert Kruys is also a former professional footballer and current manager. Club career Utrecht Kruys started his professional career in Utrecht in 2003. Niklas Skoog
Jan Niklas Skoog (born 15 June 1974) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was the Allsvenskan top scorer in 1995 with Västra Frölunda IF and in 2003 with Malmö FF. A full international between 2002 and 2004, he appeared nine times for the Sweden national team, scoring four goals. Club career Skoog was the Allsvenskan top scorer for Västra Frölunda in 1995 and for Malmö FF in 2003. In 2004, Skoog was part of the Malmö FF side that won Allsvenskan. Per Anders Andersson (born 15 March 1974) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Starting off his career with Malmö FF in the early 1990s, Andersson went on to play professionally in England, Denmark, and Portugal before returning to Malmö in 2005 to finish up his career. Markus Halsti
Markus Halsti (born 19 March 1984) is a Finnish professional football defender and midfielder. Club career In Finland Starting his career in FC Viikingit before moving to HJK in the Finnish top league in 2003, he debuted in 2003. His 2005 season ended badly with a serious injury in the middle of the season. Same injury came later in the beginning of 2007 when he again missed half of the season due to this fracture in his right leg.
