The 2008 MAAC men's basketball tournament was an NCAA college basketball tournament held at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York on March 7–10, 2007, to decide the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champion. Times Union Center
The MVP Arena (originally Knickerbocker Arena, and then the Pepsi Arena and Times Union Center) is an indoor arena located in Albany, New York. It is configurable and can accommodate from 6,000 to 17,500 people, with a maximum seating capacity of 15,500 for sporting events. Edwin Ubiles
Edwin Ubiles (born November 26, 1986) is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Siena College. A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, he averaged 14.8 points per game over his four seasons at Siena, where he finished third on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,939 points. Professional career In November 2011, Ubiles joined the Dakota Wizards of the NBA Development League. He played in the 2012 D-League All-Star Game, and on March 18, 2012, he signed a 10-day contract with the Washington Wizards. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. Charron Fisher
Charron Fisher (born November 15, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player. College career After attending Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Fisher played college basketball at Niagara University. During his four-year stint with the Purple Eagles, between 2004 and 2008, he averaged 19.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game. As a senior at Niagara, Fisher averaged 27.6 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Ronald Moore (born July 14, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Debreceni EAC of the Hungarian Basketball League. Whilst playing collegiately for Siena, he led the NCAA Division I in assists during his senior season (2009–10). High school career Moore attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. Alexander Demetri Franklin (born July 11, 1988) is a Puerto Rican-American professional basketball player for Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He is best known for his college career at Siena College and as a member of the Puerto Rican national team. Franklin, a small forward from Reading, Pennsylvania, played at Siena from 2006 to 2010.
