2008 Coupe De La Ligue Final
The Coupe de la Ligue Final 2008 was a soccer, football match that was held at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Seine-Saint-Denis, Saint-Denis on March 29, 2008. It was contested between Paris Saint-Germain and RC Lens. It was Paris Saint-Germain, PSG's 4th appearance in the final. They won the inaugural cup in Coupe de la Ligue Final 1995, 1995, won again in Coupe de la Ligue Final 1998, 1998, and lost to FC Gueugnon in the Coupe de la Ligue Final 2000, 2000 final. It was RC Lens, Lens's 2nd appearance in the final. They won the cup in their only appearance back in Coupe de la Ligue Final 1999, 1999. Pedro Miguel Carreiro Resendes (born 28 April 1973), known as Pauleta (), is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a striker. During 18 years as a senior he never played in the Primeira Liga, having spent 12 of those campaigns in Spain and France. Bernard Mendy (born 20 August 1981) is a French former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He was known for his blistering pace and constant overlapping runs. He most recently served as the assistant manager of Paris Saint-Germain Féminine. Vitorino Hilton da Silva (born 13 September 1977), commonly known as Vitorino Hilton or just Hilton, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back.
