Esther Vergeer
Esther Mary Vergeer (; born 18 July 1981) is a Dutch former professional wheelchair tennis player. Vergeer won 48 major titles (21 in singles and 27 in doubles), 23 year-end championships (14 consecutive in singles and nine in doubles), and seven Paralympic gold medals (four in singles and three in doubles). She was the world No. 1 in women's wheelchair singles from 1999 to her retirement in February 2013. Vergeer went undefeated in singles for ten straight years, ending her career on a winning streak of 470 matches. She has often been named the most dominant player in professional sports. Over the course of her career, Vergeer won 695 singles matches and lost 25. Karin Korb
Karin Korb (born 1967) is a retired American wheelchair tennis player of German parentage who competed in international level events. She has participated at the Summer Paralympics twice. She was the first disabled person to receive a Division I athletic scholarship to Georgia State University to play intercollegiate wheelchair tennis. Prior to entering Georgia State and earning her master's degree there, Korb graduated with a bachelor's counterpart from Division III and thus non-scholarship Kean University in her birth state, New Jersey. When she was 17, Korb broke her back after falling badly from a gymnastics vault which left her paralyzed from the waist down and has used a wheelchair since the accident. Aniek van Koot (born 15 August 1990) is a Dutch wheelchair tennis player who is a former world No. 1 in both singles and doubles. Van Koot is a 23-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2013 Australian Open, 2013 US Open and 2019 Wimbledon Championships in wheelchair singles. She has also won 17 major titles in doubles, variously partnering Florence Gravellier, Daniela di Toro, Jiske Griffioen and Diede de Groot. Daniela "Danni" Di Toro (born 16 October 1974) is an Australian wheelchair tennis and table tennis player. Di Toro was the 2010 French Open doubles champion and has also been the Masters double champion. In singles, Di Toro is the former world number one and two time masters finalist. In 2015, she moved to para-table tennis and represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, where she was team captain with Kurt Fearnley. Kaitlyn Verfuerth
Kaitlyn Louise Verfeurth (born 12 August 1985) is a paracanoe athlete. She is a former American people, American wheelchair tennis player who competed in international level events. Verfuerth sustained an L2 incomplete spinal cord injury aged seven when she was involved in a car accident in 1993. She spent 96 days hospitalised in Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee and then two months of bed rest. Verfuerth competed in wheelchair tennis at the 2004, 2008 and 2016 Paralympic Games. She retired after 2016 Paralympic Games due to the travel demand for tennis players. However, she picked up paracanoe in 2017 after meeting United States' paracanoe coach during the 2016 Games.
