Glasgow Warriors
Glasgow Warriors are a professional rugby union side from Scotland. The team plays in the United Rugby Championship league and in the European Professional Club Rugby tournaments. In the 2014–15 season they won the Pro12 title and became the first Scottish team to win a major trophy in rugby union's professional era. The side is known for its fast, dynamic and attacking style of play, using offloads and quick rucks. Defensively the club prides itself on its 'Fortress Scotstoun' where the club play at home. Ed Kalman
Ed Kalman (born 7 December 1982) is a former Scottish rugby union internationalist, who played for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro12. He played as a prop; both at tighthead and loosehead. Rugby Union career Amateur career Having moved to Scotland from an early age, Kalman went to Belmont House School in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. He joined the local rugby club Whitecraigs RFC. He played for the Glasgow District team for their under-20s from 2000–2002. Kalman studied Physics at Durham University. He was a member of the Durham University rugby side that won the 2004 BUSA final at Twickenham. From the north-east he then moved to Cambridge University. Colin Gregor
Colin Gregor (born 31 May 1981) is a retired Scottish rugby union player. He was the captain of the Scotland 7s team from 2009 to 2014. He is only the eighth player, and first Scot, to score over 1,000 points on the IRB Sevens World Series. He is one of only 13 in all forms of rugby. Gregor retired as the most capped sevens player in Scottish history, playing in 58 IRB Sevens World Series tournaments, three Sevens World Cups (in Hong Kong 2005, Dubai 2009 and Moscow 2013) and two Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, 2006. Richie Vernon
Richie Vernon (born 7 July 1987) is a former Scotland international rugby union player with London Scottish. He previously was with Glasgow Warriors, playing for the Glasgow side over two spells. He has also previously played for the now defunct Border Reivers and Sale Sharks. Rugby union career Amateur career Educated at the High School of Dundee, Vernon then played for Dundee HSFP. Steve Swindall (born 11 December 1982 in Scotland) is a Scottish former rugby union footballer who played for Glasgow Warriors. He played internationally for the Scotland 'A' side. Kelly Brown
Kelly Brown (born 8 June 1982) is a Scottish rugby union coach and former player. He won 64 caps for the Scotland national team, and played club rugby for Glasgow Warriors, Border Reivers and Saracens as a flanker. He retired from playing in 2017 to become a coach with Saracens' academy. Brown moved to an Assistant Coach position at Glasgow Warriors in 2020 before returning to Saracens in 2021. John Barclay (rugby Union)
John Adam Barclay (born 25 September 1986) is a Scottish former rugby union player, who played as a flanker and Number 8. He made 76 international appearances for the Scotland national team 2007–2019. He played at three world cups. He played club rugby for Glasgow Warriors, Scarlets and Edinburgh Rugby.
