2007 Women's Oceania Cup
The 2007 Women's Oceania Cup was the fifth edition of the women's field hockey tournament. It was held from 11 to 16 September in Buderim. The tournament served as a qualifier for the 2008 Olympic Games. New Zealand won the tournament for the first time, defeating Australia 1–0 in the final. Emily Naylor
Emily Sarah Gaddum (née Naylor; born 23 December 1985) is a former New Zealand field hockey player. One of the country's most experienced players, she was due to finish her career after her fourth Olympic appearance at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, but her retirement due to pregnancy was announced when the 2016 Olympic squad was named. Private life Gaddum was born in 1985 in Palmerston North, New Zealand and attended Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School, and then Palmerston North Girls' High School. Charlotte Harrison (born 31 July 1989) is a New Zealand field hockey player. She has competed for the New Zealand women's national field hockey team (the ''Black Sticks Women''), including for the team at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, and as a reserve for the team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Meredith Orr
Meredith Dawn Orr (born 2 May 1978 in Whakatāne) is a field hockey midfielder from New Zealand, who represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There she finished in sixth place with the Women's National Team. Orr made her international senior debut for the Black Sticks in 2001 against Korea in Wellington. Orr attended Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland and then attended Massey University to complete her business degree. In 2006 Orr ruptured her ACL but returned to hockey seven months later to Captain the Canterbury Cats hockey team in the New Zealand Hockey League. In a continual effort to keep developing her game, Orr played for the NSW Arrows team in the 2007 Australian Hockey League. Orr has over 110 caps for New Zealand. Kayla Marie Whitelock (née Sharland, born 30 October 1985) is a New Zealand field hockey player, and former captain of the New Zealand women's national field hockey team (the ''Black Sticks Women''). Elizabeth Jane Igasan (now Horlock; born 16 September 1982) is a New Zealand field hockey player who was captain of the national team and a participant in the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics. Early life Igasan was born in Whangārei and attended Whangārei Girls' High School and Rangitoto College. She grew up with her mother, two sisters, Connie and Mary-Anne, and a brother, James.
