UEFA U-19 Championship 2007 (qualifying round) was the first round of qualifications for the final tournament of UEFA U-19 Championship 2007. 48 teams are split into 12 groups of 4 and teams in each group play each other once. The top two teams in each group and the best third-placed team will enter UEFA U-19 Championship 2007 (Elite Round). UEFA U-19 Championship 2007
The UEFA U-19 Championship 2007 Final Tournament was held in Austria with matches played from 16–27 July 2007. Players born after 1 January 1988 were eligible to participate in this competition. The draw was made on 13 June 2007. The venues were the Linzer Stadion in Linz, the Waldstadion (Austria), Waldstadion in Pasching, the Fill Metallbau Stadion in Ried im Innkreis and the Vorwärts Stadium, Vorwärts-Stadion in Steyr. Kostas Mitroglou
Konstantinos "Kostas" Mitroglou ( el, Κωνσταντίνος "Κώστας" Μήτρογλου, ; born 12 March 1988) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a striker. He is nicknamed "Mitrogoal" and "Pistolero" by fans due to his goalscoring abilities. Raised in Germany, Mitroglou started his career at Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he established himself as an excellent prospect. He was signed by Olympiacos in the summer of 2007 and had two loan spells at Panionios and Atromitos before establishing himself in the team. Tim Matavž (born 13 January 1989) is a Slovenian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Croatian club Gorica. Club career Matavž began his football career at the age of 6 playing for Bilje. In 2004, he moved to Gorica youth squads. He was promoted to their senior squad in the 2006–07 season and played a total of 30 matches in the Slovenian first division, scoring 11 goals in the process. Kidričevo () is a town near Ptuj in northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Kidričevo. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.
