Miriam Welte
Miriam Welte (born 9 December 1986) is a German track cyclist. Career At the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne, Welte and Kristina Vogel won the gold medal in the team sprint. They set a world record in qualifying which they broke again in the final. On 22 June 2012, she set a new world record of 10.643 seconds in the individual sprint event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she and Vogel won the team sprint gold medal. Welte was trained by her step-father, Frank Ziegler. In 2002, she finished second in the German National Junior 500 m time trial. From 2006 to 2008, she won the senior version of the event. Jennie Reed
Jennie Reed (born April 20, 1978) is a World and U.S. champion track cyclist and Olympian (2004, 2008, 2012). Jennie began track cycling at the age of 16 in Redmond, Washington. She won National titles in the match sprint and individual pursuit at her first U.S. Track Cycling National Championship in 1994. She went on to compete in the sprint disciplines at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics and the Team Pursuit in 2012. Jennie competed in 13 World Championships, 11 consecutively. She won 25 World Cup medals between the Sprint events (Sprint & Keirin) as well as the endurance events (Scratch & Team Pursuit). Anna Meares
Anna Maree Devenish Meares (born 21 September 1983) is an Australian retired track cyclist. She currently resides in Adelaide in South Australia where the Australian Institute of Sport's Track Cycling program has its headquarters at the Adelaide Super-Drome. She has been the 500 metre track time trial world champion on four occasions, and a gold medallist at the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. At the 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships Meares took the gold in the keirin—her 11th world title in total, which made her the most decorated female track cyclist of all time. She was the flag-bearer and captain for the Australian team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal in keirin.
