2007 Rally Portugal
The 2007 Vodafone Rally de Portugal was the 41st Rally de Portugal and the fifth round of the 2007 World Rally Championship season. It took place between March 30–April 1, 2007 and consisted of 18 special stages. 61 drivers finished the rally and the winner was Citroën's Sébastien Loeb, followed by Subaru's Petter Solberg and Citroën's Dani Sordo. All Ford Focus RS WRC 06 drivers were given five-minute time penalties, because the glass used in the cars' rear side windows was 0.5 mm too thin. This dropped Marcus Grönholm from second to fourth, Mikko Hirvonen from third to fifth, Jari-Matti Latvala from sixth to eighth and Henning Solberg from ninth to 11th. 2007 World Rally Championship Season
The 2007 World Rally Championship was the 35th season in the FIA World Rally Championship. The season began on 19 January, with the Monte Carlo Rally and ended on 2 December, with the Wales Rally GB. Citroën's Sébastien Loeb won his fourth consecutive drivers' world championship ahead of Ford's Marcus Grönholm and Mikko Hirvonen. Between two sets of stages, instead of returning to the main service location, cars are serviced in a remote location. The service duration is 15 minutes, only four mechanics are allowed and the only parts which can be changed (save for tires) are the ones carried in the car itself. Phil Mills
Phil Mills (born 30 August 1963) is a Welsh rally racing co-driver. He was winner of the 2003 World Rally Championship (WRC), as co-driver to Petter Solberg. Mills was born in Trefeglwys, Powys. He has a place in the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame, as the first Welshman to win the Wales Rally. His first rally was in 1983, and his WRC debut in 1994. He joined Solberg in Ford in 1999, later moving with him to the Subaru World Rally Team. Mills lives with his partner Helen and their children in Powys. On 11 June 2010, Mills announced his immediate retirement from co-driving to concentrate on his motorsport preparation business. The 1–2 November, Mills returned to the WRC with Petter Solberg in the 2014 Rallye du Condroz with a Citroën C4 WRC. Mills later served as a co-driver for Elfyn Evans in the 2018 Tour de Corse, filling in for Daniel Barritt who suffered a concussion during the 2018 Rally Mexico. Jonas Andersson (co-driver)
Jonas Andersson (born 1 January 1977) is a Swedish rally co-driver. Currently, he is the co-driver of Gus Greensmith. Rally career Jonas Andersson began his rally career in 2002, co-driving for Per-Gunnar Andersson. In the 2002 Rally Sweden, he made his WRC debut in a Renault Clio RS. From 2009, he started to partner with the Norwegian rally driver Mads Østberg. In the 2011 Rally Sweden, they achieved their first podium finish. Per-Gunnar Andersson (rally Driver)
Per-Gunnar "P-G" Andersson (born 10 March 1980 in Årjäng) is a Swedish rally driver. He is a two-time winner of the Junior World Rally Championship. Career Andersson was competing in Junior World Rally Championship since 2003. He became JWRC champion in 2004 during his first complete season. Piloting a Suzuki Ignis S1600, he earned three wins, a second place, an eight place, and two retirements. He scored 39 points during this year while runner-up Nicolas Bernardi, piloting Renault Clio S1600, scored only 2 fewer points. In 2005 season, Andersson continued competing in the JWRC with Suzuki Ignis S1600 and later Suzuki Swift S1600. Although he won Rally Acropolis, the rest of season wasn't that successful and, in final standings, Andersson finished sixth with 30 points. Miikka Anttila
Miikka Anttila (born 10 September 1972) is a Finnish rally co-driver, currently teaming with Jari-Matti Latvala at Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT. Anttila has previously served alongside such drivers as Mikko Hirvonen, Janne Tuohino and Kosti Katajamäki. Career Debuting in the World Rally Championship in 1999, Anttila began co-driving Latvala at the 2003 Rallye Deutschland and got his first win at the 2008 Swedish Rally. He missed the birth of his second child to participate in the Rally de Espana in 2011. He joined Volkswagen Motorsport after its formation as a manufacturer team in 2013. Gianluigi Galli (born 13 January 1973), better known as Gigi Galli, is an Italian rally driver, best known for his spectacular driving style. He comes from, and lives in Livigno, Italy. Career Galli debuted in the World Rally Championship at the 1998 San Remo Rally with a Group N Mitsubishi Carisma GT. His first world rally with a WRC car was the 2004 Monte Carlo Rally. The Citroën Xsara WRC is a World Rally Car built for the Citroën World Rally Team by Citroën Racing to compete in the World Rally Championship. It is based upon the Citroën Xsara road car. Daniel Carlsson (rally Driver)
Daniel Carlsson (born 29 June 1976) is a rally car driver from Sweden. Biography Carlsson came in 2nd at the Swedish Junior Rally Championship in 1998 when he was only 22. He went on to compete in the Swedish Rally Championship in 1999, finishing 1st in Group H. In 1999 he finished 2nd again in the Swedish Juniors. By 2000 he graduated to the WRC and finished 22nd at his home rally of Sweden driving a Toyota. The following year in the same event he finished 7th. At his first Monte Carlo rally in 2002 he promptly came in 4th just off the podium driving a Ford Puma S1600. At his home rally of Sweden, driving a Mitsubishi in the group N class, he finished 1st. Jarmo Lehtinen
Jarmo Lehtinen (born 3 January 1969) is a rally co-driver from Finland. He was the co-driver to former World Rally Championship driver Mikko Hirvonen and have scored 15 WRC wins competing under Ford World Rally Team and Citroën Total. As of 2019, he is current co-driver for M-Sport driver Teemu Suninen. Career Lehtinen started co-driving in 1988 alongside friend Jari Mikkola. He later partnered Marko Ramanen in the Finnish Rally Championship, and he made his WRC debut in the 1997 Rally Finland.
