2007 Montreal Alouettes Season
The 2007 Montreal Alouettes finished third place in the East Division in 2007. Jim Popp decided to remain as head coach rather than hire a replacement for Don Matthews, who unexpectedly resigned the previous season. The results were unexpected as the Alouettes endured their first losing season since rejoining the league in 1996. They appeared in the East Semi-Final, losing to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and putting an end to a disappointing season. Windsor Lancers
The Windsor Lancers are the varsity athletic teams that represent the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The school's varsity program supports 9 different sports. Their mascot is a lancer and the team's colours are blue and gold. The varsity teams compete in the Ontario University Athletics provincial conference and the national U Sports organization. Canad Inns Stadium (also known as Winnipeg Stadium) was a multipurpose stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The stadium was located at the corner of St. James Street and Maroons Road, immediately north of the Polo Park Shopping Centre and the now-defunct Winnipeg Arena. Although built for the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, the stadium also accommodated baseball and soccer, and was used by various iterations of the Winnipeg Goldeyes and Winnipeg Whips. Braden Smith (born March 25, 1996) is an American football offensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn. Early years A native of Olathe, Kansas, Smith attended Olathe South High School, where he was a two-way lineman on the football varsity. The Buffalo Bulls football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the University at Buffalo located in the U.S. state of New York.
