2007 Men's World Inline Hockey Championships
The 2007 Men's World Ice Hockey Championships was the 12th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament was divided into two divisions, the top division, for the teams ranked 1st–8th in the world. Additionally, Division I consisted of the teams ranked 9th–16th in the world. All 16 teams would be eligible to win the top division world championship. At the conclusion of pool play, the last placed teams in pools A & B played in cross-over games against the winners of pool C & D. The winners advanced to the playoff in the top division, while the losers were entered into the Division I playoff round. Michael Wolf (ice Hockey)
Michael Wolf (born January 24, 1981) is a German former professional ice hockey forward who played with the Iserlohn Roosters and EHC München in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career Wolf began his hockey career with EV Füssen. He spent his junior career there, before earning a spot on the professional roster in 1998 as a 17-year-old. Wolf went on to play two more years in Füssen and moved up with his team to the Oberliga in 2000. In 2001 Wolf signed with SC Bietigheim-Bissingen in the 2nd Bundesliga. He established as a solid scorer over three years. In 2004 Wolf signed with the Essen Mosquitoes. With a breakthrough performance he led all German players in scoring at the end of the season, with many clubs from the Deutsche Eishockey Liga competing to sign him to their roster. Derek Kern (born September 1, 1978) is an American former professional roller hockey and ice hockey player. Kern was a member of the United States national inline hockey team that competed at the 2007 and 2008 IIHF Men's InLine Hockey World Championships. Gregory Francis Thompson, (March 28, 1947 – September 10, 2019) was a Canadian politician who served six terms as a Member of Parliament (MP), and for one term he represented the district of Saint Croix in the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly, from 2018 until 2019.
