2007 Liga De Fútbol Profesional Boliviano Season
The 2007 season of Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano was the 50th season of top-tier football in Bolivia. The 2007 annual season had the 35th (Apertura 2007) and the 36th (Clausura 2007) tournament of LFPB's history. The ''Apertura'' tournament started on March 6 and finished on June 13. The ''Clausura'' tournament was played between August and December. Bolívar and Wilstermann will be defending the championships obtained in the 2006 annual season. Teams and venues CONMEBOL qualification Relegation At the end of the year the team with the lowest point average (points / games played) from the past annual season (2006) and the current one (2007) is relegated to its respective regional tournament. Estadio Rafael Mendoza
The Estadio Rafael Mendoza Castellón is a multi-purpose stadium in the neighborhood of Achumani, La Paz, Bolivia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and belongs to The Strongest. The Strongest
Club The Strongest is a Bolivian professional football club based in La Paz, that currently plays in the Bolivian Primera División. Founded in 1908, their team colours are yellow and black. Although they have a home ground, Estadio Rafael Mendoza, (capacity: 15,000), they play most of their games at the Estadio Hernando Siles, Bolivia's national ground (capacity: 42,000). The club is the oldest active football club in Bolivia and the only team to have played continuously in the country's top division for longer than a century. Club Deportivo San José was a football club from Oruro, Bolivia. Founded in 1942, they have won the Bolivian league four times: in 1955, 1995, 2007, and 2018. Club Real Potosí is a Bolivian football club based in Potosí. Founded on 1 April 1988, in 2022 it will play in the Potosí Football Association Championship, after being relegated from the Bolivian Primera División in 2021, holding home games at Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte, with a 32,000-seat capacity.
