The 2007 FINA Men's Water Polo World League was the sixth edition of the annual event, organised by the world's governing body in aquatics, the FINA. After six preliminary rounds the ''Super Final'' was held in Berlin, Germany from August 7 to August 12, 2007. FINA Water Polo World League
The FINA Water Polo World League was an international water polo league organized by FINA, which plays annually, typically from winter through to June. League play featured continental tournaments for men and women, from which the top teams emerged to play in the championship tournament (the "Super Final") where the league champion team is crowned. Men's league play began in 2002, to capitalize on increased worldwide popularity of water polo created by the 2000 Olympic Games, especially in Europe, North America and Australia. The women’s league was added in 2004, based on growing interest in women's play. In October 2022, FINA announced that the tournament would be replaced with the FINA Water Polo World Cup and FINA Women's Water Polo World Cup from 2023 on. Pietro Figlioli
Pietro Figlioli (born 29 May 1984) is an Italian water polo player. He competed for Australia at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics and for Italy in 2012 and 2016 and won two medals for Italy. He also won the world title in 2011. In 2012 he received the Gold Collar of Sporting Merit from the Italian Olympic Committee. Personal life Figlioli was born in Brazil, but his family moved to Australia when he was three years old. His father José Fiolo is a former Olympic swimmer. Kevin Graham
Kevin Graham (born April 21, 1986 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian water polo player. He was a member of the Canada men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team finished 11th out of the 12 teams in the tournament. Graham is slated to suit up for Egri Vízilabda Klub in the Hungarian League for 2010. In 2008 and 2009 he played as a driver and hole checker for the club team PVK Jadran in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. Graham is enrolled in the Haskayne School of Business' Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Calgary. Aaron Feltham (born April 16, 1982, in Goderich, Ontario) is a Canadian water polo player. Feltham's professional career began at the age of 16, when he left home to play for the Ottawa Titans. Feltham played two years apiece with the Canada B water polo team and the junior national team. In 2007-08, he played in the top men's division in Hungary with Brendon ZF UPC Eger. Thomas Whalan (born 13 October 1980) is an Australian water polo player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics, in the 2004 Summer Olympics (Vice-Captain), in the 2008 Summer Olympics (Captain) and in the 2012 Summer Olympics representing Australia in over 350 internationals. James Ivor Stanton-French (born 21 July 1983 in Mudgee) is an Australian water polo player. A goalkeeper, Stanton was part of Australia's Olympic squad for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He was also a member of the Australian squad that finished 10th at the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne and won the bronze medal at the 2007 FINA Water Polo World League in Berlin. He played in Pamplona, Spain, for two years before returning to Australia. He was given a two-year sanction (23 October 2010 – 22 September 2012) by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority for clenbuterol presence.
