2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup Squads
CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football) announced on 30 May 2007 the final rosters for all twelve teams that will compete in the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The roster for each team consists of 23 players, as stipulated in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Tournament Rules and Regulations. A listed player may only be substituted in the event of a serious injury up until 24 hours before the team's first match at the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Vancouver Whitecaps (1986–2010)
The Vancouver Whitecaps were a Canadian professional soccer club based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1986, the team played its final year in the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid in the NASL Conference of the USSF Division 2 Professional League coached by Teitur Thordarson. The team played its home games at Swangard Stadium in nearby Burnaby, British Columbia. The team's colours were blue and white. Martin Nash (soccer)
Martin Nash (born December 27, 1975) is a Canadian soccer coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of York United of the Canadian Premier League. A five-time all-league selection in the USL-1 and its predecessor, the A-League, Nash has won four league championships, two with the Rochester Rhinos in 2000 and 2001 and two with the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2006 and 2008. He spent the majority of his playing career in North America, most notably in the Vancouver area, but also played in England for Stockport County, Chester City and Macclesfield Town. Nash was also a regular member of the Canadian national soccer team, making 38 appearances and scoring 2 goals during his 13-year career. Patrice Bernier (born September 23, 1979) is a Canadian retired professional soccer player. A long-time mainstay of the Canada national team, the midfielder played the majority of his career with Montreal Impact in addition to playing in Denmark, Germany, and Norway. Club career In 1998-99, Bernier played college soccer for Syracuse University in the United States. At Syracuse, Bernier played 38 matches and recorded 34 points with 12 goals and 10 assists. He was named to the Big East All-Rookie Team in his freshman year and the All-Big East First Team in his sophomore year. Houston Dynamo FC (formerly officially, but still commonly, called the Houston Dynamo) is an American professional soccer club based in Houston. The Dynamo compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Dwayne Anthony De Rosario OOnt (born May 15, 1978) is a Canadian former professional soccer player, who played as a forward or as an attacking midfielder. Atiba Hutchinson (born 8 February 1983) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder and captains both Süper Lig club Beşiktaş and the Canada national team. The Montreal Impact (french: Impact de Montréal) was a Canadian professional association football, soccer club based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1993, the team played in the United Soccer League. Later, the Impact played in the North American Soccer League (2011), North American Soccer League (NASL), the second tier of the American Soccer Pyramid until the 2011 season. Gabriel Gervais (born September 18, 1976) is a Canadian retired soccer player who played as a defender for the Montreal Impact and Canada. He was named president of CF Montreal on March 28, 2022. Club career Gervais was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. During this tenure with the Montreal Impact Gervais helped the club win the league championship in 2004, as well as the regular season championships in 2005 and 2006. Richard Cory Hastings (born 18 May 1977) is a former Canadian soccer player and current manager of Highland League side Inverurie Loco Works. He played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County, Grazer AK, MVV Maastricht, Hamilton Academical and Brora Rangers. Hastings played 59 times for the Canadian national team.
